Samsung CLX-3160FN

The Samsung CLX-3160FN features a laser printer, copier, scanner, and fax machine in one home or office machine that measures 18.3 x 19.1 x 16.9 inches and weighs 45.2 pounds. It supports connectivity through Hi-speed USB 2.0 as well as Ethernet 10/100 Base TX for networking. The multi-functional printer has two input trays. The first is a 1-sheet manual tray and the other is a 150-sheet capacity cassette tray. It can accommodate a wide range of paper sizes from 3 x 5 inches to 8.5 x 14 inches. It also features an automatic document feeder (ADF) that can accommodate up to 50 sheets from 5.6 x 5.8 inches to 8.5 x 14.0 inches in size. Printer The Samsung CLX-3160FN’s laser printer can print black text at a speed of up to 16 pages per minute and in color text and images up to 4 pages per minute. It prints at a maximum resolution of 2,400 x 600 dpi.

Copier

The CLX-3160FN copies at a resolution of 600 x 600 dpi when printing text or when printing using the ADF. It also prints in photo mode at 1,200 x 1,200 dpi. Its maximum copy speed is at 16 copies per minute (black) and 4 copies per minute (color). It also has reduction and enlargement capabilities from 25% to 400%. Using the ADF, copies can be reduced up to 25% but cannot be enlarged.

Scanner

The Samsung CLX-3160FN scans at a maximum optical resolution of 600 x 1,200 dpi which can be enhanced up to 4,800 x 4,800 dpi.

Fax Machine

The CLX-3160FN features a fax machine with a modem speed of 33.6 Kbps that can transmit at a maximum resolution of 300 x 300 dpi (black) or 200 x 200 dpi (color). It also comes with a 4 MB fax memory.
