Great Printer

Amazon Customer "chucktryon", Amazon
11 March 2014
  • Summary: This Ricoh is a great printer. It produces high quality color and B/W images. Far better than my old HP Color Laser. Easy setup. Must use the CD that comes with the printer. Don't know why other have had problems with power consumption. It automatically goes into two levels of power saving.

Not Happy With My Ricoh SP C240SF

Yodel, Amazon
5 November 2013
  • Summary: Right out of the box, the quick start page is just a series of unclear pictures, no words that is mostly useless. So I went to the manual, only to discover there was a lengthy manual for scanning, but nothing for general set up or for using the other functions.

Small Office Printer at Consumer Price

Ian W., Amazon
1 July 2012
  • Summary: The setup instructions are completely incomprehensible so it took a little while to get going. It doesn't have wifi, so I connected it to my wifi router. I wasn't able to quickly set up scanning to a Samba share but FTP worked the first time. Printing from Windows 7 Home Premium works easily.

Excellent quality machine for the money.

annrki, Amazon
1 July 2012
  • Summary: I was pleasantly surprised to see this high quality copier/fax/scanner was an Affordable price. The ink cartridges are about the size of a VHS tape which is definitely a big plus. I was using an HP office jet that had tiny cartridges that had to be replaced often.

Good printer, poor software

Craig S. Laughlin, Amazon
1 July 2012
  • Summary: The printer is fine. The functionality is poor. In order to use the single page feed slot, you have to go into the software and change the paper tray designation every time you want to use it. Also, the included scanning software is useless.

Amazing for me because those weekneses don't affect me

castel32, Amazon
1 July 2012
  • Summary: Pros: It prints great and fast. Solid build. Good price when paying 205$. It is a photocopy machine :) Con's: Big, heavy, no WiFi and scanner average quality. Drivers not as easy as could be. Overall happy because I don't mind the con's.

Cheaper than buying Ink

Paul Falcum, Amazon

  • Summary: It prints great, but if you are running windows 7 64 bit you can't scan from it. It makes no sense why there is no update available

An Extremely Good Value

Ronald D. Rackley, Amazon
1 July 2012
  • Summary: It works beautifully to copy, print and scan. Setup was a no-brainer on my network with a mixture of XP and Windows 7 machines. I just plugged it into the wireless router and ran the setup disk in each computer.

This baby uses the amps

Kindle Customer, Amazon
1 July 2012
  • Summary: Other then the load on the circuits it is a great printer. I do dock them on their documentation which really is put together poorly. Usually I don't even read the documentation, however the administrator password was not working and nothing in the documentation talks about resetting it, I had to...

This is a great small business all-in-one model

Patterson, Amazon
1 July 2012
  • Summary: This is a great small business all-in-one model. Along with the usual copying and faxing features it is either a USB Printer and Scanner or a Network Printer and Scanner. There is a big difference. For USB you just follow the directions and it is all plug and play.
