Excerpt: This will be my 3rd purchase of an OKI printer. My last Oki Lazer lasted 10 years!! and I really put that poor printer through its paces. c5150! My new OKI MC 361 arrived yesterday. This is my first all in one Lazer. I have owned HP in inkjet.... but never again. I run a small business and my output is very high. I am printing full color presentations. averaging 125 pages per book and I print 4 to 10 books at a time.
Excerpt: This is hard to setup to begin with. But after setup the engineering department liked it so well we bought one for the accounting department. I guess the next to get one of these will be the shipping department Great laser printer for the money. So, to say the least we are sold on this printer. This was the first laser printer the company had. Even though the ink toner cost a lot they actually save money compared to our bubble jets we had.
Summary: Super nice printer/copier/scanner, extremely capable, but a tricky to program properly for internet faxing. It needs to be connected to an LDAP server otherwise one will spend a very long time typing addresses on its small keyboard.
Summary: Amazing!! Quality of pictures and text came out magnificent. It does what it suppose to do. Setup was fine, little tinkering here and there. Quality is alway on my agenda, that is why I don't mind spending money on products that is with it.
Summary: Great merchant. I received the product and was out of town, when I got home and opened it up it had the power cable missing but I contacted them and within 2-3 days they sent me out the power cord. I want to commend them on their attentive and reliable customer service.
Summary: The MC361 is an office class machine. That being said I'm using it in a home office with not a lot of use. I got it for less 300 through a warehouse club. I just got tired of all the expense of inkjets. The printer prints very fast even in duplex mode. Output seems fine. Scanning seems fine. The ADF works great and so does manual feeding paper in. The fan on it is a little loud as well as when it is printing its fairly loud also. Setup is a bit of a pain. .
Great color laser printer, easy to use, low price.
3 November 2012
Summary: I really like this printer. It has performed very well with printing, copying and sending faxes. The only reason I didn't give it a "5" on the Features was the lack of wireless printing. I have owned Okidata printers before and like their ease of use and quality. I also bought this printer because the toner cartridges can be refilled. That helps to keep costs down.
Excerpt: The unit was simple and intuitive to setup. I used the web interface once I retrieved the IP address from the menu. It's simple to add computers and e-mail account for scanning destinations. Changes to scanning settings were easy to make, Fax setup was relatively easy except the add-on predial of #1 never worked so I have to hit that when I fax, but no big problem. For the money this has been a wonderful unit at a great price, over $100 less than other websites.
When It Comes to Multi Function Printers...........
18 November 2011
Summary: If you are looking for a multi function printer, look no further. I have looked long and hard at all brands. My biggest complaint with most of the brands such as Brother or HP is that they do not disclose the scanning speed and the scanning function on these brands is horrible at best. The MC361 has exceeded all my expectations and is by far the best MFP on the market.
