Summary: I purchased this printer for my company in October after settling on it as the best option for a low-cost, high speed color printing option. We print about 3000 pages per month. This printer provides good quality but has a user interface that is not for the faint of heart. OEM toner is expensive, and while there are lots of generic alternatives, they don't always work. The automatic document feeder is great, and I love the automatic duplex scanning and printing.
Excerpt: After doing much research and pricing different laser (led) all-in-ones, I pulled the trigger on this one and I'm glad I did. Going by the reviews, there were three concerns that I had before buying this: Installation issues, difficulty scanning to PC and noise. After some time with the device, here is my experience: The installation was indeed a little difficult. (I am referring to the install for direct USB connection to my PC.
Pros: Durable construction, Easy To Use, Fast Print Time, Reliable, Sharp detail
Excerpt: The Oki toner is reasonably priced. Campared to others you get more coverage and the operational cost per page is less than that of similar units. The network/workgroup setup for Document Scanning is a little difficult to setup, but when it's done it's a breeze to scan documents. When you call Oki Tech Support you get to speak with someone in North America whose primary language is English. That's a BIG plus.
Pros: Durable construction, Fast Print Time, Low toner consumption, Reliable
Summary: We are now enjoying our new Oki MC361 Mfp color laser unit. When first installed it needed to be tweaked by our son, who is an IT pro., to work with our MAC computer with VMware for Quickbooks that we use for our business. After the tweaks the unit has worked well. Thank you for the good service and this helpful printing partner for our business operation.
Summary: I have 3 computers that print onto this in our house. 2 are on windows 7 and 1 on windows 8. Prior to the windows 8 computer we had a vista computer hooked.. First the bad... I had constant problems with scanning mainly because I think we have a dynamic IP address. Anyway, from about a year ago after we got the windows 8 computer, rather than figure it all out again, I just scan to a USB stick and move the stick to my computer as I only scan about 10 docs a month.
Summary: It's a noisy beast...but the printing is great! I love the Reversing Automatic Document Feeder (RADF)...I can now scan all my textbooks and resources easily and save them as PDF searchable files! Hours saved.(And it actually scans more than 50 pages at once...I accidentally plugged in 56 pages and it was no problem.) Love it!
