Buy Laser, not ink printers...they're cheaper in the long run
12 July 2011
Summary: Needed a MFP for work, and this does the job...I am sure that purchasing the product brand new would make the rating at 5/5, but i got it pretty used. Machine is straight-forward and user friendly, making setup easy. Toner replacement is a little expensive, especially OEM toner. Technically, the marginal cost of the toner per page is cheaper than the HP toner that I purchase for my other MFP.
Excerpt: The printer comes with it’s own ink toner cartridge. The downside is the price of a replacement toner cartridge. The price is $100+, depending on where you get it. But, price of ink compared to page-yield is still very competitive with inkjet printers. It will just hurt the pocketbook a bit when you have to buy a *refill*. Over all, this printer is just what I was looking for. It does what it advertises, and has been dependable.
