So frustrating you'll want to smash it, as I did!

Summary: I bought this off the home shopping network for $120 and it included multiple software titles as well. I needed a simple all-in-one, and I hoped this would do the trick. This printer is horrible. It's bulky, loud, and slow. There are 2 ink tanks. One black and one color. The color tank only has 3 colors, so photos look decent at best. If you want a photo printer look elsewhere for something with 5 or 6 colors. I don't use the printer much.
Summary: I can never leave this printer alone when faxing with the feeder, or printing. Jams on both ends, so much I wanted to pitch this thing out of the window! Has suddenly decided not to scan anymore manually. I have to set it up to scan now from the computer for it to work. I have seen some great print quality from hp, and am considering a move today!
Summary: A warning comes up when the ink cartridge is low telling you to buy a new ink cartridge and delaying printing for 15 seconds. Even if you are making a print using only black ink and the color cartridge is "low" it will delay printing. The thing is, there are at least 50 copies left when it calls the cartridge low on ink, so you spend most of the life of each cartridge having to suffer long delays in printing. The support staff is in India and is no help at all.
Summary: I agree with most comments from the negative side of this printer. I have had issues with the fax component. It wouldn't fax to any long distance or toll free numbers. I contacted Lexmark and they replaced it for another one. The new one jammed continuously on the automatic paper feed and was inconsistent on the faxing to toll free and long distance. I contacted tech support and customer service again to get my money back or to upgrade. They wouldn't do either.
