Summary: I bought this machine because it is wireless, my old Canon still chugging along with problems, but I have so many wires running everywhere, I decided to go wireless. This machine is cheaper then buying the hardware to go wireless with my current Canon I860.
Summary: The shipped printer was defective; the scanner wouldn't work. One call to Lexmark, confirmation by a tech support guy (via the internet), and a new one was shipped immediately. This all-in-one is easy to use, and the print quality is outstanding.
Summary: I actually Purchased this printer back in July 2011 from my local Target Store. I had a printing emergency just before a trip (of course, it's always the case). I was able to snap this up on sale for 49.99. It's rather large, I think, and a bit bulky.
Summary: I guess I'm one of the more fortunate people who purchased a Lexmark X5650 printer, because it works just fine for me. The unit was very easy to install & prints perfectly well, with no serious examples of the difficulties described by other reviewers.
Summary: The lex is perfect for home use, it lets know when the fax goes thru. It redials till sent. Overall great pics and the memory slot for cameras is such a useful item. No more cables, just switch memory stick. Great price for printer, quick and the cartridges don't cost over $25. Get one
