Summary: I bought this 6 years ago when it was first released so i paid double of what it sells for. This is my first color and my second Lexmark. My first laser printer was a Lexmark 4039 12R. That was a great printer. It ran with very few paper jams and when it did, it was easy to clear the jam.
Summary: Good high-quality color laser printing. True 1200dpi. The printer did not jam once, unlike my DeskJet. Make sure you get the recommended paper type for a laser printer. The printer did arrive with some minor damage, but Lexmark provided in-person service with a replacement.
Summary: Purchased about a year ago. I don't use it a lot, but some of the MFP features are nice. However, I can get that stuff elsewhere. The real problem is the cartridges. WOW! I should have done more research. It costs more to buy a set of cartridges than a new printer.
Summary: We've had this printer for about three weeks now and had nothing but problems with it. In the past we've had only Brother printers and never had any problem, just needed some more features and this one sounded good when we bought it.
Summary: Deeply disappointing. The estimated pages per cartridge are a joke. Very little color on my pages and toner is always running out. Then the waste toner box fills up in 2 weeks! What?! My old Brother multifunction would only need a new waste cartridge every 8-12 months! And jams?
Summary: When I first unpacked this printer, I was a bit overwhelmed at the thought of setting it up. It turned out that the instructions were easy to follow and we were in business the first time. There is a known glitch with print quality that occurs during shipping.
Summary: I bought this printer about 6 months ago for my small business. I'm a realtor and about 90% of what I do is black and white printing & copies, with a little scanning and faxing. The color is good and can be adjusted to make the images look fantastic on the right paper (I use 28lb color copy paper).
