Summary: Comments about Lexmark X502N Multifunction Printer: I have normally been an HP user, and this is my first Lexmark. I wasn't sure if I would like it, but it turns out I do. I was hoping it would go a bit faster than it does, but hey there is no jamming, its handling all the multi-functions with ease and the print quality is better than I had hoped.
Pros: Compact Design, Easy Setup, Easy To Use, Reliable

Summary: Our small office needs requires a printer that is quick not only in printing but in scanning. Until you reach the $3000.00 range, scan speeds are largely ignored. Our former laser printer was no longer being produced and we had to find a new model. This Lexmark blows away the top of the line home office ink jet in terms of print and scan speeds. In black and white text mode we're scanning between 15 and 20 pages per minute.
Summary: Comments about Lexmark X502N Multifunction Printer: This sleek design laser printer is a great product for the money. It works very well and very fast. I have printed everything from newsletters to photographs to business cards and labels all with no problems at all.
Pros: Compact Design, Durable Construction, Easy Setup, Easy To Use, Fast Operation, Reliable
Summary: After barely three months we've ordered a replacement for the Lexmark X502n. We've had two service calls about the printer reporting low toner when toner was not low. It is very noisy - placed between two desks, both users worry that it will be fired up while they are on the telephone. Even in "power save" mode the printer is still making fan noise that can be heard ten feet away.
Summary: I recently purchased a Lexmark X502n colour laser multifunction printer, but returned it because of two fatal flaws that are not disclosed in any of the product literature I reviewed before making the purchase. The first fatal flaw is that the X502n does not support scanning on a Mac network. In the words of Lexmark technical support (who I contacted after encountering difficulty using the scanning function) "scan to network is not supported on Mac.
Summary: What I wanted was a multifunction printer for a small home/office. I have now had this one for about a year This works fine for straightforward printing of documents etc that are sent to it from the computer. My one quibble here is that it is difficult to set with the default on mono printing, however you try to set this it tends to jump back to colour.
Pros: OK for straightforward printing & routine scanning
Cons: automatic document feeder unreliable, and rather faint copies
Summary: I have been using this printer for two weeks. I was looking for a good quality multifunction laser printer for replacing of my old HP inkjet multifunction printer and the OKI LED b&w laser printer. When looking at the prices, I found the HP printers far too expensive and I went for this printer instead. Until now, I think I have made the right decision. The quality of the B&W and colour print outs are quite good. The speed of the printer is fine.
