Excerpt: I like the Lexmark X2670 but it eats up the ink very quickly. The ink is one of the more expensive ones. After careful consideration and comparison I choose to keep the Lexmark. It is is a much better product than my oldHP.
Excerpt: The Lexmark X2670 isn't the greatest printer. I know this and am not surprised on how much troubleshooting I've had to do with this printer. Now, I can't fully complain because I didn't pay for it. My son school's through a virtual academy and the school sent a brand new computer and this printer for free. I was excited since my old printer didn't have a scanner. But when I started to scan items such as photos or documents, I was highly disappointed in the quality.
Excerpt: This printer is black and nice looking. It scans fast, and prints fast. I have only had it for a week and a half and it is out of color ink. The cartridges for it are small. I have tried to find affordable color ink for it today, but cannot find any.
Excerpt: The Lexmark X2670 All-In-One Ink-Jet Printer is great for the *Average *home that only prints a few photos or documents but for someone who does quiet allot of printing it can get expensive. I printed 5 photos with a brand new cartridge and ran out of ink on the 5th page. It takes a black and color cartridge and the cost together is about $45. The color allways runs out before the black ink. Reviewer received a sample of this product.
Summary: I have always enjoyed my Lexmark printers...but not the best of luck. I want to be able to refill cartridges and still enjoy perfect printing...aren't I goofy. This one allows you to refill with certain cartridges but of course I cannot find them. It is not the best quality printing but it serves me and my interests. For the price I am satisfied. Thanks.
Summary: I have purchased Lexmark printers since I started using a computer at home since 2000. However, this was the cheapest one I ever purchased. The price was great , but the printer isn't. You use up almost all your ink when you try to use it the first time, trying to do an alignment. This was a bad purchase , and I have to return it to Walmart. I had to go buy a different model. This isn't worth the time it took to set it up. Took a chance and got burned.
Excerpt: Because most of us don’t want to charge for extras more than we charge for the device. Lexmark really provides a great printout quality with its devices but, especially for home users it must be a major point to consider before making a choice, and it will depend on to the customers’ expectations. If the quality is the first in your list I can suggest Lexmark with its respectable customer support.
Summary: If you have recently read or re-read my review of the HP Photosmart All-In-One C7280 printer then you will know that all is not well. What initially seemed to be a decent product turned out to be something of a lemon, firstly because of critical software problems and finally when the printer refused to print in black. I am currently at war with PC World, where I bought it, and fully expect to have to take them to court before they will honour their obligations at law.
