Excerpt: I like the Lexmark X2670 but it eats up the ink very quickly. The ink is one of the more expensive ones. After careful consideration and comparison I choose to keep the Lexmark. It is is a much better product than my oldHP.
Excerpt: The Lexmark X2670 isn't the greatest printer. I know this and am not surprised on how much troubleshooting I've had to do with this printer. Now, I can't fully complain because I didn't pay for it. My son school's through a virtual academy and the school sent a brand new computer and this printer for free. I was excited since my old printer didn't have a scanner. But when I started to scan items such as photos or documents, I was highly disappointed in the quality.
Excerpt: This printer is black and nice looking. It scans fast, and prints fast. I have only had it for a week and a half and it is out of color ink. The cartridges for it are small. I have tried to find affordable color ink for it today, but cannot find any.
Excerpt: The Lexmark X2670 All-In-One Ink-Jet Printer is great for the *Average *home that only prints a few photos or documents but for someone who does quiet allot of printing it can get expensive. I printed 5 photos with a brand new cartridge and ran out of ink on the 5th page. It takes a black and color cartridge and the cost together is about $45. The color allways runs out before the black ink. Reviewer received a sample of this product.
Summary: I have always enjoyed my Lexmark printers...but not the best of luck. I want to be able to refill cartridges and still enjoy perfect printing...aren't I goofy. This one allows you to refill with certain cartridges but of course I cannot find them. It is not the best quality printing but it serves me and my interests. For the price I am satisfied. Thanks.
Prints fast and looks fine. Fax feature does not work.

Summary: I like this printer. It prints fine for what I use it for. The only thing I dislike about it is, that the fax feature does not work. I have done everythng I know of and still it will not work. I just use a regular fax machine. It would be nice if I could fax from the printer tho.
Summary: I followed the DVD instructions on how to set up my new printer and all went well until it was time to put in the enclosed ink. I raised the printer lid as instructed and after inserting the ink found I could not close the lid again. I could not close the lid because the support for the lid had spread and efforts to contract it enough to reclose the lid were in vain.
