Summary: I purchased this all in one printer because my older one no longer fed the paper in properly, and it required manual assistance for each page of printing. This machine is light weight, produces good quality copies (without manual assist), but it is rather slow- at least compared to my previous one. I like the compact design and weight- particularly for an all-in-one printer. The issue common to most printers, is the cost of the ink.
Lexmark X2650 Printer- A very good little printer!!
9 September 2012
Excerpt: My husband bought this from a Black Friday sale. For as long as we have had it (3 years) its still going strong!! While we don't print all of the time, I do print coupons regularly and it has never done me wrong. It prints fast and gets the job done. It does pop up with an annoying message when your message is low reminding you to buy more ink, but you can just X away from it. I have found replacement black cartidges on amazon for like $25 for a set of two.
Summary: I had upgraded to Vista and found my printer was not compatable so had to buy another. Finding the x2650 listed as new and compatable with vista i bought it. I had to contact Lexmark for help in installing the drivers as the previous printer was not completely removed from the registry file. Lexmark tech was able to lead me thru the process of wiping clean the old drivers and the new printer installed with no problems.
Summary: When sorting out my things before going to university I realised that I would need a new printer, as I was sure my family wouldn't appreciate me stealing the main one we had at home. I was keen to buy an all-in-one printer as it would be cheaper and also allow be to do anything I needed for my university assignments. The space saving and one plug aspect also appealed to me.
Pros: Great Value and Design, Easy to Use.
Cons: Nothing really, considering how cheap it was.
Summary: This printer is a desirable printer for anyone because it has a scanner and a printer inside but when you buy it all comes to reality to why it is so cheap. The quality: is very good of the buttons and the material used to make the printer however after a couple of weeks it does get damaged and attracts alot of dust.
Summary: I got this sent to me as a replacement for a smaller Lexmark printer I had which broke!!! (Not a great start) on saying this the Lexmark customer service was brilliant and sent me this (a great upgrade on my previous print-only model) Set up: Lexmark printers are very easy to set up, pretty much a plug in and play type thing where you install the drivers it needs to work.
Summary: This is a fantastic printer for a low budget person, it does many things and does them to a great standard of quality too. Lexmark are a company that have been designing and making printers for a while now, so firstly you know that they are great quality. The best way to describe its shape is to describe it as three separate blocks glues together to give an amazing, almost sculpture like looking all in one printer.
Summary: Well... the student loan was in the bank and before it all disappeared on the wonders of snakebite and iceland pizzas i thought i better buy a new printer. Such is the inconvenience of the student life that they actually expect you to do work (otherwise it would be the perfect existence) and my mouse powered wedgeblock of an old printer just needed to go.
