Summary: I purchased this all in one printer because my older one no longer fed the paper in properly, and it required manual assistance for each page of printing. This machine is light weight, produces good quality copies (without manual assist), but it is rather slow- at least compared to my previous one. I like the compact design and weight- particularly for an all-in-one printer. The issue common to most printers, is the cost of the ink.
Lexmark X2650 Printer- A very good little printer!!
9 September 2012
Excerpt: My husband bought this from a Black Friday sale. For as long as we have had it (3 years) its still going strong!! While we don't print all of the time, I do print coupons regularly and it has never done me wrong. It prints fast and gets the job done. It does pop up with an annoying message when your message is low reminding you to buy more ink, but you can just X away from it. I have found replacement black cartidges on amazon for like $25 for a set of two.
Excerpt: The Lexmark X2650 is not the ideal printer for extensive printing needs. Although the Lexmark X2650 is considered an all-in-one, it still lacks a few conveniences expected of a printer. If you're looking for a printer that also gives you the ability to fax - this is not that printer. To make a two-sided copy, you must first print on one side, flip the paper over once its finished printing, reinsert the paper, and then print the opposite side. Too many steps for me.
Excerpt: I was very excited to find this printer because it was a deal upfront (cost was under $70); however, it's proving NOT to be a great deal overall. I like that it is a multi-function machine - printer, scanner, and copier - and therefore takes up less space on my desk. What I do NOT like about it is that it runs out of ink VERY quickly and the ink is expensive to replace! Even the people at the cartridge store laughed when I told them I'd bought this printer! Grrrr.
Excerpt: <html xmlns=""> I origionaly purchased the Lexmark X2650 All In One InkJet Printer for operation in my Home Office, where I run my small business. I purchased it due to it's price, and all it's versitile function's. It seemed the perfect product for a small business just starting up. I used it for light office work such as printing document's, Invoice's, and small batche's of marketing material's. The entire printer did a good job for about one month.
Summary: I had upgraded to Vista and found my printer was not compatable so had to buy another. Finding the x2650 listed as new and compatable with vista i bought it. I had to contact Lexmark for help in installing the drivers as the previous printer was not completely removed from the registry file. Lexmark tech was able to lead me thru the process of wiping clean the old drivers and the new printer installed with no problems.
Summary: i love how easy it is to install the hardware.i like the size of the printer. i don't like how hard it is to insert the paper.i bought it to print out my postage labels. which it does very good.
