Summary: I actually had 2 copies of this model printer. The first I bought for 50 bucks; another I purchased at a big-box store for 27 bucks. I should've just bought a decent Canon for $120. Both Lexmarks failed. The first could barely print more than one page before jamming or failing to feed paper. The second would throw its drivers and refuse to print at all. I understand Lexmark has abandoned the consumer inkjet market in 2012. Good riddance.
Summary: Okay I switched from another brand that is best known by two initials because of the extremely deceptive practice of using up your color cartridges while printing in "black only." The Lexmark doesn't do that but it has it's own very creative ink-usage scam. Everytime the unit loses power, you disconnect it, or you buy a new cartridge it makes you print an alignment page that burns up about a quarter of both your new ink cartridges.
Summary: Tis is one of the best printers I have ever bought, for the simple fact the at software that comes with it allowes me to sacn documents and edit them.... I got my first one about three years ago, and now i get them as often as i see them just to jave a back-up.
Summary: The only reason why they invented this printer is so they could rip customers off with ink cartridge purchases. Don't waste your time or money with this printer. It's a piece of garbage. You install this junk print 5 pages and all of a sudden your hounded by constant pop ups that try to force you into re-ordering ink from their website.
Excerpt: This is one of the worst printers I have ever had. It looses it's connection after each page is printed. Alignment is nearly impossible and the print heads get very dirty after very few uses and have to be cleaned. The scanning and copying features work ok but I really need to printing to work. Took this back and got an HP. The HP cost more but at least it worked. Ink is also very expensive. It would be cheaper to buy another printer than it would be to buy the...
It is affordable, ad does the job, but the cost of ink kills me

Excerpt: The Lexmrk 2600 is a great printer...all in one machine. I enjoy the fact that I have the technology at my fingertips and tat it is simple to use. I would prefer that the ink would last longer, and that the price of the ink was cheaper. I am a student and print many papers out, the price of ink just kills me.Furthermore, I like to print coupons and this printer does a great job, but again the price of ink hurts my pocket.

Excerpt: I purchased the lexmark x2600 all-in one printer in january of 2009. I have children that use it so I did not want to spend alot of money on something they may break, or buy one that was hard to use. This printer is very eary to use, Many school projects have been completed with it. We can do a quick print if we just nedd informaion, or if pictures or graphs are needed then it can also print those very clear.
Lexmark 2600 You get what you pay for. Wouldn't recomend.

Excerpt: I purchased this printer, and I am not happy with the quality. I think it uses way mor ink than other brands. The scan feature is good, but the print quality I am not happy with at all. The ink cartiages are not refilable for this printer. I would not recomend this printer to anyone.
