Summary: Bought this printer 2 1/2 months ago. It had issues faxing from the day of arrival. Lexmark customer service worked with us over the phone on several occasions troubleshooting and was rude on occasions during the process. They finally figured out the at the feeder has been defective. We emailed them our purchase order and they claimed the printer is not covered under warranty because the company Bakerstown Sales is not an authorized seller.
Summary: My wife's office bought this printer and seemed to have the Pdf problems experienced by others. They went with a printer service and put this in the back room. After a year, they told her she could take it home, or throw it away. It's been as dependable as a rock for us every since! My wife is active in PTO and soccer and the printer gets a workout! I have an netgear wireless port for it and share it with 3 Windows 7 machines, and an XP.
Summary: Bought this in June 2012 and in that time I must have called tech support about 5-6 times due to repeated malfunctioning of the device driver software/ firmware. Worked fine initially, but then the fax malfunctioned, it would not send faxes unless you powered off the machine & turned it back on. Then it would print goobly goop characters and continue printing without end until you took out the paper tray to give you a chance to cancel the print job.
Summary: It's good generally. The light printing or something like that. we'd need to adjust the darkness in the driver menu. Otherwise, It'll give you a bad result base on default configuration. All in all, printer has very high quality print.
THE worst printer I have ever worked with. Period.

Summary: Pro: it prints. Cons: There is nothing else that this pile of junk doesn't fail to do. It's scanning interface is indecipherable. It can't scan to e-mail. It can't use the document feeder. It can't stop printing reports for all of its myriad failed jobs. What's more? Lexmark's support site is as big a mess as it's miserable products. I will NEVER buy anything Lexmark again. This is literally the worst peice of equipment I have ever used.
Summary: It`s good item All-In-One. atisfy all your printing needs by making place for the Lexmark X204n printer in your office. With monochrome laser print technology, this Lexmark printer gives you amazing quality print outs, with utmost clarity. This Lexmark laser printer gives you print speed up to 24ppm for letter and 23ppm for A4 size in black. The Lexmark X204n offers Lexmark Scan Center software that avails you in scanning and sending documents easily and rapidly.
Summary: I've had this printer for a year now. Haven't had any problem so far. I'm still using the original cartridge that come with the printer. Which has less ink in it. I've went through about 3 of those color printer and have always had trouble. Great Product!
Summary: do not buy. had to return it for replacement immediately after buying because would not feed paper without jamming. replacement did the same. we have had to give up and scan pages one by one to fax or copy. very poor usability interface. pretty much does not work with mac platform. save yourself endless frustration do not buy this product.
Summary: I've been using the X204n for quite some time as a network printer/scanner with both PC & Mac. As a printer I'm completely happy with it but have always had issues scanning with the doc feeder. Sometimes the doc feeder just ignores the fact that you're trying to use it and goes to the flat bed mode. When it does run I really have to baby it to get the pages to feed. It has a hard time keeping pages separate no matter how good the paper or prep so jams are regular.
