Summary: Why would you consciously sale a product that doesn't work and has been sitting in your basement for so long.Yes the product looks good has ink and does not work. I have three different computers in my home all of them less than 8 months old and 'it does not work on any of them.
Summary: I got this thing out of the bargain bin for 20 bucks, and i feel ripped off First of all, feeding it paper is PICKY. You can't have just 1 sheet in the tray, you can't have 100 sheets in the tray, you need to have 20 to 30 sheets in the tray Secondly, the paper need to be in just the right amount. Too far down and it jams. Not far enough and the printer thinks its empty. This thing EATS ink.. and i mean guzzles it.
Summary: For the price I doubt you'll be able to find a better printer. Everything that I have printed, copied or scanned comes out perfectly clear. When you print pictures, (put the setting on best) and you'll have pictures with store bought quality. I had a Dell before that cost 3 times as much and was not one bit better. I would highly recommend this printer.
Summary: Ive had the printer for about a year. I mainly need it for printing black and white and scanning. At first the printer worked great. About 6 months later I noticed that the print quality was degrading. Everything had those horizontal streaks. Even after cleaning the printer heads I still get them. Forget about color prints. Colors are faded and washed out. It didnt matter if I used color photo paper. So far the scanner is the only thing still works well.
Summary: I purchased this combo printer/scanner just under a year ago and it's perfectly adequate as a scanner. After a year of minimal usage as a printer, totaling maybe 70-100 pages total over that time span, the print output has decreased in quality to the point where I am actively shopping for a new inkjet printer. The rating of 3 stars is for its use as a scanner - the rating as a printer would be 1 star or less.
Summary: On the bad side, the printer is flimsy and cheaply constructed of plastic. On the good side, it is a mature machine with software that functions right and a good design. It seems to be a very good printer for the money.
Summary: Lexmark printer was easy to set up. Be sure to purchase a USB cable separately to connect to your computer, like many other printers sold it does not come with it. Great printing quality and scanner options. Can also scan to computer to fax through email. Great features.
The color print speed is a little slow, but It does the job.

Summary: The printer is for my mother, So only she can really rate this item. but when I set it up for her. I notice there was no USB cord inside, even though the manual mentions it and the cover box. So they should've mentioned "USB Cord NOT INCLUDED". But my mom is fairly satisfied.
Summary: I ordered this printer back in July and have had plenty of time to test this out. Let me start by saying for $48.99 for this printer it is hard to go wrong. Printing speed if you leave it on deafult is rather slow. That is easily solved though, by going into the lexmark settings and setting the quality to quick. There is a difference in quality, but the print quality is more than fine, that is if you don't need it to look 100% replica and amazing.
Excerpt: I'm on my second Lexmark X1290 printer. The first I had to return because it would not print and the issue could not be resolved. I've had my second printer for less than a year and it just abruptly stopped printing black ink. I will NEVER buy another Lexmark!
