Summary: As a printer, my first one lasted me over 4-5 years. It survived a move, and served me great. When it finally did fail, it was due (I believe) to a simple mechanical failure that would probably have been an easy fix. I however have neither the patience nor the knowledge to fix printers, and so bought a replacement. I spacifically sought out the X1150 because I belive they are reliable in the long term, and are very easy to use.
Summary: I have purchases 3 of theses. One for myself and the other 2 for my sisters. They are very reliable. (X1150 & X1185) they look and do the exact same things. The only problems that one of my sisters had was trying to refill the cartridges herself. Lexmark is making it almost impossible to have your cartridges refilled. It burnt out her printer. Therefore the need to purchase this one on ebay, Lesson learned tho.

Summary: We purchased our Lexmark X1150 All-In-One Printer brand new in approx 2003 or 2004, and have been very happy with it. As an All-In-One, it functions very well. It does tend to use more ink than expected/desired, but the ink is readily available on eBay and also at your local stores, and the ink is fairly priced.
Summary: We just started our home business and we needed a new print. This printer has everything you need to start a small business. It copies black or color, it will scan. Great printer for that small business.
Summary: I used to have this printer and i never had any problems with it. i used all three funtions a lot and never really had any problems with any aspect. i did come with the USB cable which is unusual for some printers.
Excerpt: I really do print a lot, it all to do with my studying I go through hundreds of ink a week trying to complete my attesters. This is why for me, and many other students and business-related workers, need a good printer. Now, instead of buying a cheap little print, I thought I would go for the works the scanner, photocopier, and printer. I even considered getting the four in 1 with a fax machine, but this would be taking it too far I think.
