Summary: Worst printer ever. Have to unplug it from the back and pray and maybe it will print, Horrible print quality. Will not let you print unless you have all colored inks in it. So if your daughter tried and gave up printing a picture and used up the yellow dont even think of printing your resume even if it is all in black, it will not do it. I have put brand new ink in and the printer will decide that there is not ink in the cartridge and will not let you print.
Summary: Constant problems with this printer. Goes through ink at an unreal pace and I hardly print, wireless doesn't always work, print quality varies, there is always something quirky. Now I have gray boxes that print all over the pages whether I copy or print. Evidently it needs a new print head which if almost as expensive as the printer. Would never buy another Lexmark based on our experiences with this one.
Summary: I've had nothing but problems from day one with this printer. If it wasnt a wireless issue it was the glitchy menu access or jamming paper. Not to mention it uses ridiculous amounts of toner. And Lexmark, if i have a full Black cartridge and an empty Cyan, I should still be able to print black right? Not with this POS. It faults out until you replace the Cyan. Should have bought an HP.
Summary: If I could've left zero stars, I would've. This printer is the worst most frustrating printer I've ever owned. Most of the time I can't even get it to print. When it does print I'm lucky if the whole document will print in its entirety. I have to run the "clean cartridge" often which just wastes ink. The $5 black ink deal is a scam because the printer will only use a little more than half the cartridge before the black ink won't come out anymore.
Summary: The printer is good but the time and effort it takes to keep it running makes this a bad purchase. Now, if it is a software issue, Lexmark wants you to buy a service plan. I am sorry I got into this printer. Should have stuck with HP, even if the ink is more expensive.

Summary: My recall is this is my first-ever negative review. I've regretted this purchase choice from the beginning. I'll never, never buy another Lexmark to use with a Mac computer. Having owned literally 20 other small-business printers lifetime, this one has required more time and attention to keep it operational than ALL the others combined. I was tempted by the 5-yr warranty - and also somehow got the perception it would use less ink than a similar HP or Epson. Not the case.
