Summary: This is possibly the worst thing I've ever bought; I am by no means a prolific printer and have had to replace the cartridges several times. My guess is that the black cartridge runs out every 30 pages. It makes for a nice piece of office furniture as it is visually pleasant.
Summary: I have had nothing but trouble with the printer part of this printer for a long time. Customer support would try this and that and say ok now it works, nope. So finally they decided to send me a "new one" refurbished not new and it doesn't print half the time either. So just talked to them again and they would send me another refurbished one but I have a in home business and need to print when I need to print.
Summary: I'm really lucky I got this at a great deal because if I paid anywhere near what most stores are asking, I would return it immediately. I set it up, got it connected to my wireless, worked great. That was the first night. The following morning my son asked me to print something and it would not recognize my wireless connection.
Summary: Ordered printer because thought it was the one with the inexpensive refills (lexmark advertises about five dollars a cartridge). Instead, this printer costs three times as much for cartridges.
Summary: The first sign of problems was when I was printing envelopes. After about 6 or so envelopes, the printer jammed and I had to remove the duplexing unit. That requires a reboot of the printer, removing the jammed envelopes-uggh! Then, the fax function failed. I kept getting multiple errors even though the hard wire lines are fine. Finally the printer refused to acknowledge that there were print cartridges in the machine. It is now DOA.
Summary: This is the worst printer I've ever had. It says it's wireless, but mine is connected by a USB cable because I cannot connect it wirelessly. Sometimes it prints and sometimes it doesn't. I definitely not recommend this printer.
Summary: I have to give this machine an unfavorable review. I chose it because CONSUMER REPORTS gave it a Best Buy Rating; and also because I liked the fact that LEXMARK Ink Cartridges seem to be sold everywhere. This machine has given me aggravation since I bought it. The touchpad is very cumbersome to work with....it takes many swipes, rubs, and presses to get functions on the touchpad to function.
Summary: The subject says it all! I would have loved to have like this printer - the UI is nice, setup wasn't _too_ bad, had a nice duplexing unit....All was well in my world until I decided to print one day after having the thing for a couple of months - out of ink....I bought more, all was well for a couple months...out of ink....out of ink....printing black only: out of cyan ink.....out of ink.....out of ink....etc.
Summary: Worst printer ever. Have to unplug it from the back and pray and maybe it will print, Horrible print quality. Will not let you print unless you have all colored inks in it. So if your daughter tried and gave up printing a picture and used up the yellow dont even think of printing your resume even if it is all in black, it will not do it. I have put brand new ink in and the printer will decide that there is not ink in the cartridge and will not let you print.
