Summary: I recently bought the Lexmark Pro 715 printer which was highly rated by PC magazines. After spending several days with it, I can imagine why. It is the most user-unfriendly and idiotically-designed printer I have ever used. This is to warn anyone away from this disaster of a printer. Specifically, here is what I learned about it: SETTINGS The printer will retain NO settings that you set for printing, copying, scanning or faxing.
Summary: This also responds to an email I received today from, I thoroughly enjoy my printer. This is the third Lexmark printer I have owned. I love, love, love it. I have to order ink cartridges already--they do not last very long. Thank you contacting me.
Summary: The Pro715 was delivered the very next day. What promptness. The Pro715 arrived in excellent condition and once installed, I have enjoyed excellent print quality. Plus, excellent print quality, the Pro715 is extremely easy to operate and when not in use, goes into a safe mode which means the printer uses less power.
Summary: I gave it one star because I could not rate it less. Waste of money. It constantly gives you errors and resetting it does not correct the problem. Used it for 3 months but only for regular printing. But when the time came to print color prints on a better quality paper, forget it. It crashed, it gave errors of paper jams when NO paper was anywhere. Nothing fixed the problem. Time to crash it. Love to see it in a million pieces. I don't think it is an Amazon problem.
Would not purchase Lexmark Pro715 not a good product
5 July 2013
Summary: This product has not worked out for me. It doesn't print clearly its the 3rd. Pro 715 I have had I bought one previously from a retail store and it didn't work and they replaced it. The ink holders due not hold correctly and this has been an issue with printing they do not connect to the ink cartridge. Due to the high cost of ink I ordered the same printer again because I had new ink that needed to be used left over from my other Pro715 that didn't work.
