Summary: I love this printer. Economical, easy to use and versatile! I own two of them, actually. It is all in one and the quality of photos is wonderful. You can print from anywhere in the house because it is also wireless. Just easy and not too big, either.
Summary: This thing has been the biggest headache ever. It continually has printer head alignment problems, drinks ink by the gallon, and is absolutely worthless as a wireless printer. And forget about easily upgrading operating systems; if you even utter Windows 7 within earshot of this thing, it requires a reinstallation. Sad because I've had decent luck with Lexmark in the past. I'm moving on--and moving up--to something else. Good riddance.
Summary: I purchased one of these six months ago. So far I have printed thirty pages of test and ten pictures and it is out of ink in all of the cartridges. It is incompatible with my Mac, my phone, and my tablet. Al of which are new. The pictures were okay, but there is virtually nowhere that the new ink cartridges are available. This is the last time I buy a product from this company, this printer is little more than a glowing paperweight.
Summary: The printer is decent when it works. However, the incessant and sudden problems with the print head and buggy software make this a pretty horrible product overall. For those of you not familiar with the term "print head," it is the part of the printer that physically holds the ink cartridges and processes the ink as it is sprayed onto paper.
Summary: The sealed package arrived but was missing a power cord and usb connection. The print heads didn't work. After an hour on the phone Lexmark sent a replacement part that worked. The complicated procedure to get a new usb cable a power cord was not worth the trouble and I just bought new ones from FRY's to save the hassle. The wireless worked for a while but then went bad after a few days. I will follow up with Lexmark when I have hours of phone time to spare.
Summary: I've owned this printer for 2 years now and have not been satisfied at all. Also, I found something today that prompted me to hopefully make sure no one purchases this or any other Lexmark printer. Lets start with why this particular model is no good and move on to why Lexmark is evil later. Cons: -Wireless is intermittent. Problem has persisted through 2 routers even though Lexmark "support" said the issue was my router.
