David C. Alberti, Amazon

  • Summary: I cringe at the thought of printing ANYTHING on it, constant paper jam, crooked print jobs, the way it goes through ink, makes me wana drink. it printed ok until about half way throught the 1st set of $85.00 cartages, then it went sideways literally, I have to force feed each piece of paper through...

Great printer, copier, photo printer. Ink cartridges are expensive.

dhud61, Ebay

  • Summary: I wanted to copy, edit, and print photos; and this printer does that quite well. The Lexmark ink cartrides are a bit expensive, but have sharper, more colorful print than the off brand/remanufactured cartridges tried.

The best thing about this printer is that it looks good.

Wes Prang, Amazon
31 May 2011
  • Summary: It is pretty noisy. When printing, it shakes like a wet dog. It keeps forcing me to press the select button when I'm low on ink, for each and every print job. The quality is good (when there's lots of ink), but it prints VERY SLOWLY (about 10 ppm in b&w, and 3-4 ppm in color).

Please, stay away! It will eat your wallet!

  • Summary: This printer is pretty good I guess. But its slow and when is time to buy ink, you will be asking your self.... "Why did I buy this printer". Trust me, there are better choices out there.

Lexmark P6250 Printer

maryj49, Ebay
3 September 2010
  • Summary: I bought this printer in 2005 for $120. I didn't have any problems with it until recently when I was cleaning it and knocked it out of alignment. I took it in for repairs at a local shop and because they didn't know what they were doing, they broke it.

Don't waste your time or money

K. Brown, Amazon
12 September 2007
  • Summary: I bought this printer a while ago and it always gave me problems. First it wouldn't work at all with our desktop computer. I would have to disconnect the USB cable until the computer was absolutely ready to print.

Scanning Feature

2 July 2007
  • Summary: The flatbed scanner is quite slow, but I'm used to a stack-feed scanner at work which is really fast. Any way, the quality of scanned pictures is outstanding! Everything is crisp and clear. The person I sent my "test" scans to couldn't tell the difference from a digital photo vs the scan.

This printer is worth its price.

  • Summary: I only gave this printer 4 stars out of 5 because it is an ink jet printer instead of a lazer jet. The installation and set up is fairly easy and the scan quality is decent. I would recommend this product.

A printer for all seasons

Overstock
4 March 2007
  • Summary: This does everything it says it does and also I really like the fact that you can just insert your camera's extra disk into it and go directly from there without having to have all the camera software put on your computer. It also prints regular documents well.

A real piece of junk

Jenifer L. Moyer, Amazon
19 February 2007
  • Summary: We bought this thing new at Staples. Installed it and it would not work on our computer. I asked our IT guy at work about this problem and he told me the first problem is Lexmarks are junk. The second problem is they don't always work on every kind of computer, Compaqs are the most problematic.
