From HP paper mess to Lexmark paper reliability
9 March 2014
Summary: I was fed up with the way HP (3 in 1 copiers) "don't feed" paper. HP "service?" had no solution for paper feeding mess. I eventually gave up on three of HP printers. Obviously I'm a slow learner.
Summary: Originally had a Lexmark Pinnacle Pro 901. Worked fine initially, but over the years it started hanging up more frequently on the start of a print job. On first power up had a 900 error about ink back pressure, cycled power and another 900 error.
Summary: The Pro 5500 arrived as promised and is performing as expected. I used the previous Lexmark quite heavily and was pleased about the less cost per printed page. I used the Return Cartridge program, which further lessened the cost of printing.
Summary: 10/21/13. Addition: we have 3 of these printers now. 30 years of using computers in the office and this is the most useful printer I have ever bought. It is as fast as a home grade laser printer (except for first page out, maybe), it is the easiest to refill (no holes to drill!
Summary: Best printer for the money I have had to date. It was easy to set up and the instructions easy to follow. I've only used the printing functions so far and have been impressed with the speed compared to other printers I have owned. It was packaged well with no damage at delivery.
Summary: I love this printer, and my wife does, too. First, I was impressed by the quality of the machine: the fit and finish says "this printer was thoughtfully made." I found the set-up to be relatively easy, although other reviewers have disagreed.
Summary: Great color. Get's the job done. Has 3 different color cartridges and black. I only have to stock up on the colors used most for my printing style. Better quality print and toner is priced more reasonably than anh HP Inkjet I've owned.
