Summary: The Pro 5500 arrived as promised and is performing as expected. I used the previous Lexmark quite heavily and was pleased about the less cost per printed page. I used the Return Cartridge program, which further lessened the cost of printing.
Summary: 10/21/13. Addition: we have 3 of these printers now. 30 years of using computers in the office and this is the most useful printer I have ever bought. It is as fast as a home grade laser printer (except for first page out, maybe), it is the easiest to refill (no holes to drill!), it is quiet, it can take a 2nd tray (and if the paper in the other tray is of a different size you don't even need to select the tray, the printer will know from which tray to take the paper.
Summary: Best printer for the money I have had to date. It was easy to set up and the instructions easy to follow. I've only used the printing functions so far and have been impressed with the speed compared to other printers I have owned. It was packaged well with no damage at delivery. I use it only for home, but printed out all my financial reports to track my accounts. It was fast and easy.
Summary: I love this printer, and my wife does, too. First, I was impressed by the quality of the machine: the fit and finish says "this printer was thoughtfully made." I found the set-up to be relatively easy, although other reviewers have disagreed. The software gives step-by-step instructions; I had to uninstall and reinstall once, which I don't consider to be heart-breaking.
Summary: Great color. Get's the job done. Has 3 different color cartridges and black. I only have to stock up on the colors used most for my printing style. Better quality print and toner is priced more reasonably than anh HP Inkjet I've owned.
Pay for the better printer now, it will save you hundreds in ink costs later!!!!!!!!!

Summary: I have used HP tri color print ink cartriges for the last 10 years. When on color went, the whole cartrige was bad, even though there was ink in the other two colors. In the past I would spend $150.00 in ink alone printing our annual Christmas card. This year it cost $23.00 and only one color. This printer is also wireless, so I can print from my laptop, my kids can print from thier wireless devices, it faxes, copies and scans also. The best printer I have ever had.
Summary: I was initially concerned with buying an Epson, due to my previous experiences with this brand. I must say that I am very impressed. Easy set up. Navigating through making copies can be cumbersome at times. I feel like the printer thinks I only use high quality glossy paper. One annoying thing is that the fax keeps picking up the phone. I set fax ringer to six and phone answering machine to four rings.
