Summary: This is the second one of these printers that has failed me within two years for the exact same reason...a failure of the print head. The first printer was replaced and now I am experiencing the exact same problem. I called Lexmark support. They informed me that the warranty is for only one year.
It's worked fine, though the wireless connection for scanning never worked

Summary: I've had my 5500 for just under 2 years now. It's worked fine, though the wireless connection for scanning never worked, only for printing. In these 2 years, i've replaced a few cartidges that never seemed empty.

Summary: BEWARE!! Unfortunately, this printer has a serious product design problem. It always consume your color Ink cartridges, even that you configure it to print in Black&white Only. So, Besides having expensive cartridges, you use more ink that you are supposed to due to this problem.

Summary: This thing is garbage. After having many junk dell & hp all in one machines, I decided to go with Lexmark. What a mistake! Everything from the machine to customer service is horrible. I have been having printing quality issues since day one and Lexmark refused to fix the machine.
Summary: Worst Customer Service! Waited 2 hours, told it is normal for this printer NOT to print if it does not have ALL the ink cartridges filled, even though it is set to print in black ink only. I bought this because it had high reviews on Consumer Reports, but this is a scam.
Summary: I received this product but was not able to get it to scan or email after several hours working with the support. In the end the online / phone support tried to charge me additional amounts to get the driver installed (not the one that came with the product) and to get it working.
Summary: Every time I try to print something, "the duplex is not installed properly", meaning that I have to beat the printer senseless until it finally spits out what I want. On top of this, when the colored ink runs out, it refuses to print in black-and-white until I buy more color ink.
