Summary: Our printer arrived on schedule. However, about 4 months later it would not accept new ink cartridges. A call to tech support and replacement cartridges didn't fix the problem. Lexmark sent us a replacement under the warrantee (all shipping costs were covered)and it has performed well. We haven't replaced cartridges yet.
Summary: I loved that I got it it work easily, on my wifi, and I could print successfully from my computer and my iPad, without having to call tech support. That made me happy! This is my 2nd Lexmark printer - loving it so far.
Unreliable printer with unfriendly customer service

Summary: I bought this printer when my prior Lexmark broke down. Appreciated the low cost per page printing cost. But, this was the worst. I really needed a working printer ... was in a time crunch. Paid extra extra for expedited shipping. Got it, hooked it up and within a few hours discovered that is was defective. Called customer service. They were most disagreeable. Did send me a new printer but in their own sweet time that I then had to spend more time hooking up, etc.
Summary: Have to keep calling Lexmark to help get printer reconnected (wired) to computer. Lexmark customer service very helpful, but equipment is really sub-par. I will be going back to hp soon. Consumer Reports rated this Lexmark as #1. I disagree. Have this printer about one year and still continues to be problematical. Don't buy.
If I needed to buy another printer would look at a Lexmark again.

Summary: Bought the product because we needed a printer, fax, copier and scanner (this is all in one) and decided one made for an office would give us better service than other brands. So far the printer is working super, does WiFi printing from anywhere our laptops are in the house and like this function very much. Dislike that I can't find a good place to purchase the ink but that isn't a deal breaker. So far this product is far better than the printers we have had in the past.
Summary: I regret having bought this printer. The printing is fine, and the scanner is pleasingly quick, but the software and the user interface are clunky. You have to install the OCR software separately (you won't find out about this till you try to use it and discover it's not there), and while I've been able to do so on a PC, I have yet to succeed on my Mac.
Summary: I purchased this Lexmark Pro4000 in August. It was bigger than I expected (it's meant for small offices but I use it in my home) but it worked well for two weeks producing fine documents for an inkjet. During the third week, an error message appeared "Printhead Cannot Move" and the printer would not operate. I tried various options including clearing obstructions (none), rebooting, updating drivers, etc. to no avail.
