Summary: I read the other reviews, with great interest, due to the fact that I had also bought this printer. It has performed everything the manufacture said it would & at a reasonable price. I have used it for scanning>emailing, copying, printing, faxing, without much trouble.
Pros: reliable and easy to setup.
Cons: used to dropoff the network after a power outage.
Summary: Bought this from Costco Business Online since they listed it as a "Wireless" Laser Printer. Out of the box it has no wireless capability - only an Ethernet jack for a wired network connection.
Cons: manual are wrong not wireless capable at all lexmark support is unhelpful
Very good printer/scanner/fax, expensive toner but there is a work-around.

Summary: Overall a very reliable machine. Lexmark support is very good. We were initially having issues with scanning to our 2012 Server and contacted Lexmark and they provided us a beta firmware (which as of October 2014 is now public) and that resolved the problem. We have 4 of these in our office.
Summary: I bought this printer MX310dn to use on my office network. The specs said Network...The instructions say PURCHASE a network adapter for the printer. I SAY I trip to costco to return the pig in a poke.
Duplexing is fantastic and the print speed is great.

Summary: I work with Lexmark products in my day-job so when it came time to upgrade from my $30 DeskJet, I chose this model. Being familiar and certified to work on it is one bonus, but pretty personal so I can't recommend it on those merits.
Summary: I ordered this for myself at work because my company is so cheap that I was sick of having to deal with their crappy printers. I had gone through three "all-in-one" printers in the last two months once my original one died.
Summary: I bought this based on price and reviews on Amazon. I connected it via Cat5 network cable to my home router and am able to print from my laptop, desktop, and Samsung Galaxy 3 smartphone. Since I don't need color, I only need black to print legal docs and such and this printer is FAST!
Summary: I originally purchased a Lexmark x264dnw, but over the year I had it there was more downtime than uptime. Lexmark finally admitted there were several design flaws, and to resolve the issue Lexmark replaced it with an MX310dn in January 2014 (directly from Lexmark).
Excerpt: So far this unit has been great. I bought it to replace our HP 1536 which failed twice, first at 3 months old and the replacement 2 weeks later. HP's support was so poor I decided to trash it and buy a new one. The Lexmark was my choice.
Solid workhorse for home office/small business use

Summary: Lexmark's MX310dn is a solid, monochrome laser printer that will reliably fulfill most of your medium to high volume daily print needs with the only downside being its large physical footprint that jumps out at you if what you're accustomed to are more svelte and low-profile home printers.
