Took Me a Year to Get This Thing Functioning on My Wireless Network

Summary: I really wanted this thing for the Fax capability plus some simple scanning. It wouldn't connect to the network at all. Then because it was a snowy, nasty weekend I decided I would give it another shot.
Summary: Wireless scanning will work for a while, then fail miserably. Do you enjoy messing with firewalls, reinstalling drivers, etc., etc.? Me either. Seriously a terrible product with sub par documentation.
Summary: I have had this printer/copier/fax/scanner for quite a while now. Overall I would say that it has been a great purchase. The print quality has been great for an ink jet and the duplex printing has worked suprisingly well.
Summary: Lexmar X9350 The worst printer i ever had Because 1. It never worked properly 2. During two years I had i have reinstall software at least 10 times for various reason 3. color cartridge does not last more than 50 Pages 4. network connective issue wireless as well as wired. 5.
Summary: Horribly written Mac software; pales in comparison to the Windows edition. Moreover, the scanner is hideous. I just scanned 8 letter-sized pages to a .pdf file. The file size is 231 megabytes! Plus, the image quality is mediocre at that.
Summary: The only reason I bought this printer was because it was wireless....I wanted to be able to print from anywhere in my house. Well I have owned it for 2 years and have never been able to set up the wireless to work. I had 3 different compter people try and no one was able to get it to work.
Summary: This printer is very easy to setup on the network using the CD that came with it. I have added it to 2 other computers and the only trouble I have had has been with firewall setting to allow communication with it. This is a very good printer for the price and ease of setup.
Summary: We have 3 laptops in the house, two running XP (a Dell computer that belongs to my company and an IBM/Lenovo, belonging to my husband's company), one running Vista (an HP that we use at Home), and NONE OF THEM WORK with this device.
Summary: I don't normally submit reviews for items, but this thing is such a piece of junk I felt compelled. I have never been able to get the WIFI to work nor the LAN connection. Granted, I did not tinker with it too long, but how hard should this be?
Summary: Update 1/7/2011 A month ago I bought a canon MX870 multifunction printer. Now that's how you make printers. as much as I hate the Lexmark I love the canon. it works like it should and no frustrations. It cost me half the money.
