  • Excerpt: Love that I can carry my laptop around and print without wires but....have never used any printer that needed ink cartridges as often as the Lexmark 6570. A message pops up telling you to reorder ink and will take you directly to the Lexmark order page. I think it's a scam!

Lexmark X6570 gets the job done.

  • Excerpt: My husband and I bought this all-in-one about a year ago after he started his own business and we needed something that was able to make copies and fax.  It does a pretty good job, the copies are clear and print relatively quick, and the faxing works without issue, as well.  The printer does a fair job, but I do have a complaint as how expensive the ink cartridges are!!

Good for Occasional Use in a Home Office

  • Excerpt: I have a home office where I often do freelance editing. For a while, I was faxing back my pages but on my old Sharp fax but it blurred and cut off pages and needed replacing. I decided to purchase this all-in-one Lexmark printer/fax/scanner/copier from Wal-Mart for about $150 so that all my office needs would be met and I could also scan and print photos of my kids. I've been using my Lexmark X6570 for about a year and half now and it's a decent product for the price.

Lexmark x6570 All-In-One InkJet Printer is Not a one Time Buy

  • Excerpt: This is a nifty printer.  It's a tremendous space saver. You don't have to have a separate printer, fax machine, scanner, and copy machine. Well, that is if you have the money: In the matter of about one month, the color and black ink already needed to be replaced. This happened 3x. That was printing no photos, and just regular paper stuff. With previous old printers, I never had to replace the ink for at least 6 months!

  • Summary: I recently purchased this printer from a local store because I wanted the network functionality for my office. This printer only connects to your network through wireless which means that you have to install the CD on every computer you want to be able to use the printer. I called their customer service to see if there was any way to get around this and the rep admited that there was but told me it would be easier for him if I just installed the CD on each computer.

Lexmark all in one X 6570

expert007, Ciao

  • Excerpt: "...or copying any longer. Lexmark has a telephone customer service and a website with useful advice. When you call you don`t have to wait long and the consultants are very kind and try their best to help you. But they couldn`t solve that problem. There was only a 1year guarantee and so we have only the choice to let it repair in an electric shop. We decided not to, because repairs are always expensive and anyway the ink cartridges are really expensive. So ...
  • Pros: fast printing, excellent reliability for 3 years
  • Cons: very expensive cartridges
