Summary: The best printer I have owned. Too bad it is discontinued. They still sell the cartridges for it but you have to buy it from ebay. I got a new one for $39.00, great investment and better than the new ones that take 4 cartridges and are a pain to operante, too slow and hard to figure out.
The printer is the best buy for the money - it does eveything you need.

Summary: [#342b41a7a27346cba43bfaf77ce99738 - product is the best little printer I have tried. It does the job and is efficient. I have had 3 and I really like them. I have tried cannon, and several others and always go back to my reliable lexmark 4850. It does everything i need. It duplexes, makes photos, single copies, prints multiple copies - and for a home use it is the best buy for the money.
Excerpt: The Lexmark X4850 is a full featured all-in-one printer. It has all the bells and whistles: scanner, fax, copy, print and wireless capability. It also reads many types of memory cards and has a tiny built in screen that lets you review photos right off the memory cards. This allows it to be a stand-alone printer if what you want is simply something to print photos right after you snap the photos, eliminating the need for a computer.
Excerpt: We bought our Lexmark wireless all-in-one printer about six months ago, and we love it. We had upgraded our old desktop to two wireless laptops, and our old wired printer wasn't cutting it anymore - it wasn't printing and we had to plug into it to the laptop each time we wanted to print. So, we started looking for wireless printers, and some run really expensive, but at Wal-Mart we found this one for about $50.
Excerpt: About a year ago my old Lexmark printer started doing weird things like not printing the right things that sort of thing. but i had that printer for three years so i decided to give Lexmark another shot so i got this wireless printer. it works really really good the printing quality is better than i expected but i am not a person that needs that kind of stuff. what i need is speed efficiency and wireless.
Excerpt: I purchased my Lexmark x4850 All-In-One Printer about two years ago. I haven't had any problems with it really and absolutely *love *the wireless capabilities. This printer prints really well -- everything always looks great. I've even had people comment on how well my printer prints! I enjoy the duplexing feature (two-sided printing) because it saves me time and frustration when I want something double sided.
Excerpt: Having owned a computer and printer for the past 20+ years, I purchased my last printer about a year ago and decided I should go with a reliable and reputable brand. After owning HP printers since I can remember, I decided to go with Lexmark - a solid and trustworthy name. This printer has given me nothing but trouble since the day I bought it. The option I was most interested in was the fact that it is wireless. Since we purchased it, it has never been able to print...
Excerpt: I have owned this printer for a while. It's wonderful not to have to be "wired" to it. Everyone in the house, no matter which room they are in, can print from where they are. Seems to have a very good signal pick up. Most printers we've owned in the past have gone through ink like water. This one seems to last. Prints come out dry. No need to separate pages to prevent smearing. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a new printer.
Excerpt: We were super excited to get this printer, and have owned it for almost two years. We have found the Lexmark x4850 to be easy to use, and to have great print quality. Setting up this printer was very easy. It took less than a half hour tops to load and hook everything up. Since it is wireless, we were able to put it in a place that is out of the way, which was a bonus for us.
Overall, it is easy to use and print clarity is great.

Excerpt: The Lexmark Wireless X4850 is extremely easy to setup and use. I really like the print quality the printer produces. However, it really uses more ink than I am normally go through. The wireless network setup makes the printer accessible for all pcs in our home. I really enjoy this option compared to the printer it has replaced.
