Summary: This printer is designed to work as poorly as possible to make you spend money on ink. It won't print in black and white unless all color ink cartridges are full. Look at the terms and conditions on their proprietary ink cartridge to get an idea what you are getting into. Do yourself a favor and buy a printer without these limitations.
Summary: HE argued with me and then finally Transferred me.The supervisor was also unwilling to help me with my issue because of my refusal to pay a service charge. I went on Lexmark's website and read the rules®ulations and guess what, its actually against there regulations for a representative to not inform a consumer about any charges that may apply. so in hence i WILL BE CONTACTING THE CORPORATE OFFICE ABOUT THIS MATTER.
Pros: I was treated like an idiot.I had to talk to 3 Indian representatives that i could not even understand. the first person transferred me without informing me that there was going to be a service fee.
Cons: He transferred me to the second Indian guy that was very rude and said"WELL IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO PAY THE SERVICE FEE I WILL NOT ASSIST YOU IN THIS MATTER.I then told him in a stern voice to connect me to his supervisor.
Summary: I don't know how many printheads the company has sent me for a replacement simply because it would not print correctly. The customer service department is very friendly and very accommodating with technical support but there is definitely something wrong with this printer model. Sometimes it would not print color, then trying to troubleshoot will run you completely dry of all the ink from cleaning printhead to aligning..etc.
Summary: I thought Lexmark was a good name in computer products, but this printer is so bad that I doubt I will ever buy another Lexmark product, period. For starters, my computer constantly looses communication with the printer, and cannot re-establish the connection without rebooting. This happens every time the computer is on for any length of time. That means that pretty much every time I want to print, I know I will have to reboot.
Summary: I've always owned HP printers, then when my printer of 7 years decided one day not to work, on advice of my dad i went and replaced it with a Lexmark. I've owned this printer for about 9 months.. and since day 1 it hasn't worked properly. It goes through ink so fast i need to replace it every couple weeks. Ridiculous considering I use it only for home office use and hardly ever print anything... I was so disappointed i called Lexmark and DEMANDED a new printer or refund.
Summary: Don't waste your time, energy, money, sanity or phone time (which you'll need to talk to Lexmark).
Pros: All in one SEEMS to work (at least as often as the printer itself works)., Wireless Networking
Cons: time to get machine up and running (just short of forever...), unreliable - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, uses VERY high quantity of ink, cost of ink is RIDICULOUSLY high AND Lexmark proprietary (so good luck if you run out and need it asap)
