Summary: The product came exactly as it was advertised, new and never opened. It came on time. However, it was not what I needed. I made the mistake of assuming that adf came with this printer, but there was not one.
Summary: At first I treated this like any other networked computer and found if I read the directions things would go a lot better. I bought one for my parents since they use their laptops more and they could use this upstairs instead of going into the basement to print on a shared desktop printer.
Summary: I had an aging Cannon Pixma printer scanner that I got back in 06. I bought this because I wanted a faster, more efficient printer, and a higher resolution scanner. I got it on sale for $50. Overall, I am satisfied.
Summary: I must have been lucky with my purchase. I am computer tech and I have set up many, many printers. Setting this model up - including WiFi - was effortless. I have two PCs networked with it. It even takes re-manufactured ink cartridges without complaint.
Summary: I bought this printer for my home, and have the more expensive S605 at work so I was well aware of this products attributes. I often need to sign, scan and send back things to work or for other interests. Of course, this product is pretty much made to fit that bill.
Summary: I bought this printer used from a guy who had the printhead error. He had it for all of three weeks before It stopped working. He never bothered to register his product or contact Lexmark. His loss. Lexmark was great and replaced the defective printhead and cartridges within 3 days.
