Summary: I've had the CX310dn for over a year now and still love it. There are plenty of enterprise-class features that allow you to use the printer in a workgroup effectively, such as saving scanned documents via SMB, SMTP or FTP. The toner seems to last a fair amount of time, which is good given the cost of toner. Duplex is a big paper saver as well. The CX310dn is a perfect multifunction printer for a home office and I've had no problems connecting via IPP.
Summary: Purchased for a family member's home office locally. Startup and installation was easy and no hassle. installed the drivers no problem. did some test prints of a pdf book i was reading. pages came quick and clean prints. for the use it will get it's perfect . this is a printer that will get it's butt printed the hell out of. tried copying on the tray. was a breeze to use no complaints. first week can't give any other thoughts. thank you. found online.
Excerpt: The software was corrupted, and even Lexmark remote support couldn't install it correctly. The copy and color printer worked great though, and didn't need the software to use. To use the scanner, Lexmark remote support helped me set it up without the software. Great machine now, just a little tricky to set up.
Summary: Printer made strange noises, called Lexmark, they sent out tech. Packing material Lexmark was supposed to remove had not been removed from cartridges. (I took out all packing material I was supposed to.) Had trouble finding & downloading print drivers & making scanner work. On chat line for almost an hour, got wrong & conflicting info, had to repeat my problem several times, then found out rep was dealing w 3 other people at the same time.
Summary: Bought this printer for a private office that needs duplex and color in a small footprint. Works nicely with Mac and Windows, even has an Android app for printing. Scanning is fast, colors are nice, printing is fast, duplex works, installation of printer and scanning was automatic on windows and mac, no drivers needed. Its pretty small for duplex color.
Summary: After my recent positive experience with the excellent Lexmark MS810dn printer, I decided it might be a good idea to get a color laser printer with copy and scan functions in the front of the store. After doing some research, I settled on the CX310dn from Lexmark. This is actually a pretty decent printer, and these are the things we like about it: 1) The color quality is very good. 2) It's easy to scan directly from this printer to any of the PCs on our network.
Summary: Worked like a charm with my Macs (PS)/ PCs (PCL), without additional drivers. Quality seems perfectly good, including colors or banding. Its fast, and has a more practical shape than most other MFCs supporting duplex. The cartridge recycle program is ecological and leads to cheap printing costs. Happy until now, it seems to be the best match for my requirements (MFC, laser, cheap, with duplex, good foto printing) as of today.
