24 June 2003
  • Summary: i have had this printer for 4yrs and it has finally died. i had the same problems as another review --- always jamming, taking a pad of paper and not one at a time, the ink cartridges went fast and are expensive to replace, and right now it has a chainsaw sound to it.

This is the worst printer ever

Jon Key "JK", Amazon
14 February 2003
  • Summary: I was surprised to see so many high ratings for this dreadful printer. It was relatively inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. The cartridges for it cost around thirty dollars and then magically dry up in a couple of months, with the printer task bar being completely inaccurate in telling you...

Great printer!

Amazon
20 April 2002
  • Summary: I love this printer. I bought it originally because I'd heard good things about the brand and it had a rebate, and I'm glad I bought it! Great quality and the cartridges last for a good length of time. They are kind of expensive, but most printer cartridges are.

Lexmark 3200 Printer

Amazon
3 March 2002
  • Summary: I have had no problems with this printer, it has worked flawlessly for two years. It is a great value and is attractive as well. Requires no warm up time, unlike our laser printer and the color printing is nearly as good as printed photographs.

Lexmark 3200

Consumer Democracy
12 November 2001
  • Summary: I received a $35 rebate so the cost was a bonus. It can handle plenty of home or small business uses. While a little slow the print quality is excellent. It goes through ink pretty quickly but don't all printers? The Lexmark technical support has been excellent.
  • Pros: Great technical support, excellent print quality, adaptability and plenty of user options
  • Cons: It is slow when you are in a hurry or printing out many pages

Lexmark 3200 Color Jetprinter

Consumer Democracy
11 November 2001
  • Summary: Works great & I dig it. More pleasant design than those horrible, boxy HPs; much more sturdy than those cheap, shakey Cannons; and totally smooth ink jets (as opposed to the Epson I had that kept clogging & getting jammed up -- what a waste of expensive ink cartridges!
  • Pros: Great print quality (especially color), friendly & solid design, inexpensive but NOT cheap crap.
  • Cons: The emphatic "Printing Started" voice can get a little annoying, but is mostly just funny.

Great Printer

Brian U., Amazon
12 July 2000
  • Summary: This is a great printer for the price. One good thing about the 3200 is that it has dual cartrages, unlike some other printers. It has average print speed for printing of text and images. 1200 by 1200 dpi makes the photos look great.

Nice inexpensive color printer

Sonia Guzman, Amazon
7 June 2000
  • Summary: I bought the lexmark 3200 to replace my 2050. I really loved the 2050 and the software that came with it. I don't like the 3200 as much. I think it is a bit loud and slow. The quality of the printing is very good but it doesn't include a software package. Good print quality for the price.

The value of this printer is worth more than its price!

Alfred Valera "supwaz", Amazon
24 May 2000
  • Summary: I've owned a Lexmark 3200 for almost 2 1/2 years now and all I can say is that this printer is great! The 1200x1200 resolution is astounding! All black text when set to 600dpi is comparable to that of Laser printers while color and photo prints are very detailed.
