Summary: To be fair, the scanner works really well and it produces a copy or two in the time it takes me to prepare lunch. But, when I press 'print this thing goes through about 30 seconds of internal undulations so loud, so prolonged that it wakes up my dog.
Summary: Broke within 1 year when I bought third party toner cartridges. Even wasted more money buying the official ones...too late, damage was already done. Software was cumbersome to install, toner too few pages and too expensive for OEM's.
Thank God I broke the beast during the extended warranty!

Summary: The 2nd sheet of paper I fed from the paper tray on this animal jammed. I resorted to tricky hand feeding. The unlit display kept telling me it was out of paper unless I had the tray completely full of paper. I bought Hammermill 20 lb. The one they advertise as 'jam free'.
Summary: I've had the 1690MF for over 4 years now. I've suffered with excess noise (strange squeaks, loud fan), inconsistent print quality, blotches on color or BW prints -- and worse yet -- scanner drivers that don't work for MacOS. The user interface is clunky at best.
Summary: Lets just say I'm disappointed in myself. Anytime I make purchase on anything substantial or computer related I do a fair share of research before I make a purchase and this is probably the only product I've ever purchased where I failed. I purchased this printer almost 3 years ago.
Summary: Bought this printer and it has been nothing but trouble: 1) Had to replace the sender unit within a month as it developed problems from constant jamming. 2) To replace all of the toner is more than 2x the cost of the printer.

Summary: This machine is a piece of crap... the entire inventory lot for Konica Minolta Magicolor 1690MF Multifunction Color Laser Printer with AMAZON is defective.. talked with a rep from KONICA,@ 877-778-2687,after he verified the serial number he told me that the entire lot with AMAZON is defective-not...
Summary: I bought a Konica Minolta 1690MF last year. I did only 800 printings in black and white with it, but then it appears a "3C10" on the display that blocks everything on the printer. I contacted the sales service but it answered me that this error is irreparable.
