Excerpt: "...you're a fan of the Kodak Hero series, I'm sure you love what past versions have to offer, well, Kodak have decided to go all out. They've brought back the separate tray for photos from the 7.1 and the auto sheet feeder from the 6.1. Unfortunately I'm not a photographer. I have no need for such functions as an additional try. Well, my close friend is a photography student, and using a Kodak AZ521 camera he managed to print some shots he'd taken ...
Pros: Brilliant colours, 9600dpi resolution, decently fast
Summary: Finally dumped my old fax and ink jet printer for this and stopped going round to the copy shop for copies and scans. This does all of those very well and was easy to set up. I don't like dealing with new technology and was agreeably surprised that I could easily follow and execute the instructions and when I had finished the small number of steps, bingo! it all worked. The Kodak ink cartridges are much cheaper than anyone else's.
Summary: The printer worked perfectly over the wi-fi at home and receiving photos over the internet from various devices. Sadly the one I got developed a fault a year after I had it and had to be sent back. I must say the service from the supplier (Sin Smart) was first class. They arranged for a parcelforce collection of the printer from my house; all at no cost to me. Unfortunately Sin Smart were unable to repair or replace the printer and gave me a 100% full refund.
Summary: My second Kodak printer. The last one was 4yrs or more old and was still good. Not taking too kindly to 'Compatible' Ink but reliable. A big change round in the office, and I upgraded to this edition for the Wireless capability more than much else. Very easy to set up, once again the cheaper Ink cartridges make it cost effective, works easily with the iPhone, iPad and iMac set up, or Windows.
Summary: Have had the Hero 9.1 for a number of months now and, fingers crossed, everything seems ok. The set up was easy and the wifi set up gave me a connection in minutes. The dual paper tray holds A4 and 6x4 paper The software is a bit clunky but there are some cool effects. The 3D print seems a bit gimmicky but works well. Print quality is fine and compares well with my previous HP Photosmart.
Summary: An excellent printer which does everything you could want for a home network. Easy to set up and connect to via cable, local router or over the internet. Brilliant quality of printing and idiot-proof usability!
