Excerpt: I bought a Kodak Printrer Hero 9.1 as Kodak Printers are famous for cheap cartridges and the name Kodak is a famous name. I am not sure whether I was unlucky or it is a bad product. I had to change it as soon as it arrived. It is highly automated and simply did not function. The replacement was equally troublesome - poor printing, a number of the functions did not work as advertised. I stuck with it for a few months, accepting a poor quality product.
Cons: Not user friendly . Highly automated and simply does not work as advertised .
Excerpt: Before I begin, I'd like to point out I '''have not'' purchased the Hero 9.1. I cannot therefore tell you it's worth the money, I can only give you an educated opinion. Thankfully, as a student, I receive tonnes of hand-me-downs. If I didn't, I think I'd be quite lost. Anyhow, I believe my mothers boyfriend paid in the region of £120 for this printer, however he was gifted an Epson Stylus Photo P50 and decided he didn't really need two. That's where I come in.
Pros: Brilliant colours, 9600dpi resolution, decently fast
Summary: I found this product rather disappointing. I bought it because the supposedly cheap ink hype but since I have had it the black ink cartridge has already run out (less than 4 weeks) and I have a message saying the colour ink is low. Fair enough the children can now use a colour printer for their homework without it causing bankruptcy but the quality of the colour printing is poor. I used a Lexmark for colour printing until it died(!
