Summary: Runs out of ink VERY fast, 200 black and white pages on the fastest setting. Printer uses color ink even if you don't use it. So after printing 300 black papers for school work, its out of color now.
Summary: I've already written a poor review about this printer, but now I'm having MORE problems with it, and I'm beyond annoyed about it. Now, in addition to not printing labels, it doesn't want to print even the simplest documents. I have a .pdf file I need to print, and the lines are only half visible, color is fading out, etc, and BOTH of the cartridges are BRAND NEW. In fact, the printer is only three or so months old.
Summary: Here's my latest correspondence with Kodak tech support about my Hero 9.1. I definitely don't recommend this printer. Customer I've having print quality problems with my Hero 9.1 after less than two years since I purchased it for $125. I've contacted tech support three times, and was finally told I need to replace the print head, at a cost of $32.99 plus S&H, or $45.99 plus S&H to include a black and a color cartridge.
Summary: the kodak 9.1 is not what I expected. It never worked out of the box.called kodak for help and we went over different things [won,t print or copy] the tech came up with the printer head needed to be replaced.so will wait for a new printer head and give it a try.I wouldn,t rush out and buy one....
Summary: I will never buy another kodak printer. Or a camera for that matter. What a horrible printer. I finished using the original ink. It took me a couple weeks to replace it. Now no matter what I do I can't get it to print black. I called the 1 800 number and ended up on the phone with some guy trying to sell me a 200 dollar deal to keep viruses off my computer? What? I can't get the black to work. Then they call me back everyday for a week. Buy something else.
Summary: I have gone through a lot of printers in my 53 years and have come to not expect a lot from any of them. However, this Kodak printer takes dis-function to a whole new level. We have to reset it every time we try to print to it, it tells us we're out of ink after just replacing cartridges, and it won't print because it says its low on color ink when we have selected black & white printing. And that's just the beginning!
Summary: I bought this printer 8 weeks ago and the first cartridge ran out quite quickly. I figured as it was a factory one-it was just the norm. Now however after my 4th refill, I've only printed a 120 pages. It's very appalling and Kodak would not help at all.
Summary: Words can hardly express the aggravation, wasted time and energy trying to use the Kodak HERO 9.1. Simple tasks, like loading paper... turn into nightmares. You finally get the paper to load, press print... paper jam. Fix the paper jam, load paper the printer asks. Follow that procedure 4 or 5 times. It starts to print! It prints a few copies... then jams again. Ink is expensive, most wasted on paper jams, failures to print. Like I said at the beginning...
Summary: i received this printer set it up and it was completely broken within a month. it now no longer feeds paper, constantly tells me to reattach the rear panel, and has an ink cartridge jam. i would not wish this headache on any one.
Summary: We bought this printer because we thought Kodak was a great company to buy from, WRONG. The thing NEVER worked right unless we plugged using an ethernet cable. And I bought a wifi printer because I can't have it plugged in all the time. I spent 48 + hours over 3 month span on the phone or computer trying to get the problem resolved and they kept telling me that Someone would call me with a solution with in the next few days.
