Excerpt: The Kodak Hero 9.1 is a feature-packed all-in-one printer that has a smart touchscreen and very good image and text quality. Small business buyers will appreciate the automatic document feeder and built-in duplexing. It definitely isn't the speediest printer on the market and we don't like the combined color cartridge, but it's still a really good unit overall.
Pros: Interactive, smart touchscreen display, Automatic duplexing, Very good text & photo quality
Cons: Slow print speeds, Uses a combined color ink cartridge
Conclusion: I've been hard on certain Kodak printers in the past because the photo quality hasn't been up to snuff, or certain devices didn't work right, but in my humble opinion, Kodak has done a really good job on improving on past mistakes. The was a good printer, and the HERO 9.1 takes it up a notch further.
Pros: Great quality, Tons of features, Ease-of-use, Lowest ink replacement
Cons: B&W photo quality, No Email Print notifications
Summary: A Multi Function product – as it has Fax – so why is it described as a Home product. Surely virtually no one in the home used Fax. I always struggle to find office users who still use Fax, but I assume Fax is still popular somewhere.
Summary: It’s not the cheapest all-in-one on the market, nor the fastest, but the Kodak Hero 9.1 does deliver solid print and scanning results, as well as offering a premium feature set that you’ll be hard pressed to comprehensively find elsewhere. The single cartridge for all colours however is a disappointment; while it may ease the set-up process, it does mean you wont be able to eke the very last drops out of of each colour pool should one run dry.
Excerpt: The Kodak Hero 9.1 is at the top of the range with a price point to match. Sharing the looks of its stylish siblings, the 9.1 does everything they can do - and a little bit more. For example, when reviewing the Kodak Office Hero 6.1 we wished for a touchscreen in place of the old-school numeric keypad console. The 9.1 grants that wish, with a substantial 4.3 inch LED display. And it still combines scanning, printing and copying capabilities with faxing features.
Pros: Great build quality; crisp and accurate printouts, outstanding connectivity features, ink costs lower than from other manufacturers
Cons: Costs more than other models in the range with similar features
