  • Summary: Broke within 12 months. Kodak tried to offload a recon unit on me which I refused. Viking replaced with new model. 12 months later broke again. In the same week my mums exact same model also broke with exactly the same symptoms. Goes through ink like any other machine in fact I would say it uses more ink than some machines I have owned. Had to deal with Kodak rep in India or somewhere similar who was hard to understand. Viking were very good.
  • Pros: Nothing
  • Cons: Everythig

  • Summary: Bought this in April 2012 and after 15 months in August 2013 it stopped printing black. I wasted 1 hour of my life with Kodak Support on an 0870 number only to be told the printhead had failed and they would sell me another for £21. Thanks guys!! Called Amazon and they were no use either just referred me back to Kodak. Save your money and buy something that will last.

  • Summary: Cheap is as cheap does.... Bought this because my Canon Pixma was costing me a fortune in inks. Ran like a dream for 4 months - V. happy. Then without warning, error code after error code. Tried to get Kodak to sort it, but their own website failed to recognise the fact I had registered the product (I had the email to prove it.. duhhhh). Smashed the printer to bits in a fit of rage! Now it's deffo broke, but at least I feel better.
  • Pros: Cheap Inks, good quality printing.....
  • Cons: .....died after 4 months!

  • Summary: Kodak Hero?? I think False Prophet is more like it. If it runs out of ink, which will happen rather quickly, you CANNOT CHANGE THE NETWORK SETTINGS. Try it. Start up the device. It will warn you that the ink cartridge is empty or missing. Thankfully, and tantalizingly, you can press the red X button to proceed to the menu to change the network settings and run the WIFI setup wizard or even just view the current settings, but after a very short time limit, certainly not...
  • Pros: It prints and scans.
  • Cons: Ink runs out fast, and empty ink cartridge yields frustrating and unnecessary consequences.

  • Summary: I have had it for just over a year, now almost never use it due to the way it drinks ink and damages paper, I complained to Kodak, sent in a printout confirming it had printed 673 pages to seven sets of cartridges including two high yield. They never bothered to get back.
  • Pros: not a lot
  • Cons: drinks ink

  • Summary: This is a RIP-OFF. Please believe the negative reviews - if you read them, they are very consistent with the same old problems affecting people. I was pleased with the easy set-up and Amazon delivery but these are the many flaws which mean I cannot recommend this at all, to anyone. 1) Very few sheets of paper can be loaded into the tray at one time. a small pinch so maybe 20-30 sheets max. Jams with any more than this.

  • Summary: The worst printer I have ever owned; I've only had it a couple of months and already spent a small fortune on ink cartridges. Printing labels are a problems whereas it continually rejects the paper size; corrected only when I place my hand on the paper giving it a little pressure and headstart. I hate how it shuts down completely once any of the two cartridges run low on ink - most printers adjust and allow you to keep printing, not this printer.
