  • Excerpt: I have had a Kodak color printer for about 6 mths and have had to replace the black cartridge 2 total of 3 if you count the cartridge that was included. (There is also a color cartridge) The cartridges are much cheaper than my HP ink but Kodak only last for about 3-4 months. I don't do alot of printing just coupons or something for work.

Not worth the money

  • Excerpt: Grrrrr. This printer frustrates me. I purchased my printer less than a month ago, and have been having issues with it for the past two weeks. The color printing does not work properly. It only worked for the first two weeks of me owning the printer. My printer will not print yellow or gray tones. I have ran all of the suggested maintenance and cleaning procedures that Kodak has suggested and I haven't seen any improvement.

This Kodak Printer is a joke!

  • Excerpt: I purchased this product because it offered an all in one, and because the ink was suppossed to cost significantly less than other brands. I was dissapointed right off the bat because the software had a problem which the manufacturer took their sweet time in fixing. Then it seemed to print very little for an entire ink cartridge. After about my seventh purchase of ink I realise that I am not saving on ink because it just takes MORE than the other available printers.

Kodak Printer Doesn't Really Save You Money!

  • Excerpt: My family was in the market for a new printer. While shopping I debated between buying the Kodak printer and a Hewlitt Packard printer. I had owned a Hewlitt Packard printer for about seven years and had loved it and never really had any problems with it. The only drawback to it was the cost of the ink. I decided to buy the Kodak printer because the ink was so much cheaper. I have regretted it ever since. The paper is always jamming on this printer.

  • Excerpt: I saw the infomercial on the Kodak Easy Share printer and it looked like it would be perfect to fit my needs. My wife does a lot of photo editing and I already have a Kodak digital camera so to have a printer that would access my photos with easy and also be able to print off photo quality pictures sounded wonderful. Since the day I received my printer until it finally quit working completely about 2 weeks ago it has been nothing but a frustration.

  • Excerpt: Initially, I was happy with this printer, but after a few months I started to hate it. The only redeeming qualities it has are inexpensive ink and it actually prints pretty decent photos.

ANGERED

  • Summary: This printer has been the source of many tears of frustration. Constant issues, jams, updates... the list goes on and on. Admittedly, I am not one well acquainted with the inner most workings of a printer. But what is the world coming to if in order to use a simple piece of equipment you need a degree? The 'Help' feature and 'Instructions' are also ridiculously uninformative.

Hidden problems

Sandy Vando, Amazon

  • Summary: I bought this printer to replace a Canon Pixma printer I have had for years. I was seduced buy the thought of paying less for ink (Canon ink is expensive) and the fact that this printer says it is fast. I have found this printer very disappointing (for my purposes). *It takes longer to get going when it is first turned on. *It very noisy and suddenly does a loud 'whizz pop' about 10 minutes after I have printed something (disrupting my lessons).
