Excerpt: The Kodak Easy Share 5500 AiO Printer looks better than it performs. The prinhead is a known problem and must be replaced about every 6-7 months like clockwork. I have not been able to receive incoming faxes, depsite numerous calls to "India" (customer support). The ink cartrdges appear reasonable in cost, but that is because they are smaller than the average cartirdge and are used up very quickly. I do not recommend this printer.
Excerpt: Ordered the Kodak Easy Share 5500 from Amazon.com and haven't regretted it. I've already made my money back on the money I've saved not sending out to get pictures. It's easy to set up, easy to use, the ink cartridges are cheap, you can get the photo paper for a relatively good price. I had a Lexmark and would shell out 50.00 everytime for ink and then more for paper etc.
Excerpt: I bought this printer just over a year ago from an informercial. Supposed to use less ink & be cheaper. Yes the cartriges are cheaper but I go through 2ce as much. You can only get the cartriges from Kodak so stock up when you order. I don't think the colors are as bright as Hp ink. Seems to print photos well though. Paper seems to get jammed often & doesn't always want to feed in. I have had to call customer service to get new printhead every 6 months.
The Kodak Easy Share 5500 AiO Printer user friendly, economical

Excerpt: The Kodak Easy Share Printer is the best printer I have used thus far. I use my printer nearly everyday mostly printing documents and I tell you, the documents look clean and professional, no streaking or fading of colors and the cost of the ink is inexpensive, the price is the same as it is to refill your old cartridges. It is easy to set up. It is an all in one scanner, printer, copier and fax, this fax is a true fax where you are able to send and receive faxes.
Excerpt: I bought a camera gear magazine that helped a lot in mapping out what was available as far as cameras. I hadn't even planned on buying a printer. As I read, I learned that the printers available were relatively reasonable in price by design.where the manufactureres soaked you was on ink .Kodak was the exception. I appreciated Kodak's integrity.I bought the Kodak All ln One 5500. I am tickled pink at what a great decision I made.
Excerpt: After reading reviews on a retailer's web site, I had mixed reservations about the Kodak 5500 printer. I go through a printer on the average of one every 18 to 24 months. The cost of printer cartridges is outrageous. So, I checked out reviews, read everyone of them, but still went ahead and purchased the 5500. Most of the reviews made reference to how difficult it was to set up, it was noisy, it was slow, and some didn't keep the printer after a few days.
Excerpt: I purchased the printer thinking it would me save $ for ink! Wrong, it run out of ink quickly compared to the HP I had previously. It was slow printing, the quality of prints just got worse over a 10 month period, it was still under warranty but I canned it for another HP. Hated it!!!!
Excerpt: I have had this printer for about 4 years and have had to replace the print head once. The people at Kodak were great at helping me to solve the problem. I used it a lot while going to school but not so much anymore. I have found that as I don't print much for weeks at a time, that I need to do a copy of something at least once a week to keep it printing when I need it. It seems that if you don't use it a lot that it kind of dries or something.
Excerpt: I bought a Kodak Easy Share 5500, All In One printer from HSN,it was a "Today's Special Value", it has turned out to be some of the best money I have ever spent! It copies photos, its a fax, its a printer and I luv it!! I've owned it for over a year now, and would purchase another one if I ever need to. I can take family phots, and enlarge them up to an 8 x 10 !! It's wonderful for holiday pictures!!

Excerpt: I just love my new Kodak 5500 All in one printer, it does everything like print the best photos I have ever seen, better than the ones you get from Walgreens and CVS, it is a fax machine and scanner for those important documents that just have to be perfect I trust my Kodak All in One 5500, My printer has five memory cad slots too, so when friends come over with their cameras we just take out their memory card and insert it into my printer and load 4X6 paper and press...
