Summary: This was a used product, so I didn't expect much. However, I had several PSC2410 printers, and wanted to make use of my stock of print cartridges. The printer worked when I bought it; however, it jammed up. I followed the printer instructions for "unjamming" - but it no long will feed paper without jamming. I use it as a FAX machine (that still works okay. I guess the lesson is - bite the bullet - buy a new printer (they also have more features, like WIFI).
Summary: Bought it for all of the functions and print quality. HA! Print quality only applies to the pages it actually prints. How can a printer be useful when it HAS A PAPER JAM EVERY SINGLE TIME I START A PRINT JOB? First, the useless screen makes wildly inaccurate declarative statements such as, "Out of Paper", while fully loaded or, "Printing", when that seems to be far from certain. May I suggest, "Printing?" and, "Out of Paper?
The Hewlett Packard all-in-one printer is easy to use
9 September 2012
Excerpt: I have had this HP all-in-one printer for several years now and it has already been upgraded. It is easy to use and prints good quality pictures from my digital camera, but my main use is for printing from the computer and making copies of various things for duplication. I have not used the fax.
Excerpt: We have had our Hewlett Packard PSC 2410xi device for many years now, and it is still running like a champ. It is a combination of a black and white and color printer, copier, scanner, and fax machine all in one. The scanner/copier function works great, with crystal clear reproductions and no artifacts on the images that i have ever seen. The printer is also very solid, with very dense well-printed images. The only complaint i have is that the ink is way too...
Summary: I've used this printer for years and it has never given me any problems. Ink prices aren't too bad. It has settings to change the amount of ink used and speed to print. On its quickest speed, it will print a one page document in just a few seconds.
Excerpt: But the HP customer care numbers now-a-days don’t help much and the service center numbers where busy and unreachable. But if you get connected they do have good service engineers who will solve your problems. I finally downloaded the software from a website online. Complaints I did have with the ink leaking from the printer cartridge although it was an original one. I was solved. Overall I find this machine a hassle-free, easy to use and value for money machine.
Summary: This has been a great printer for a lot of years. The card readers and scanner have been very handy. My only real issue has been the price of HP ink, since the price of many all-in-one printers (with ink) is now lower than just buying ink for this one. I recommend getting the cheap refills and cleaning the ink contacts if you have any trouble or if you think it's going bad. My computer guru said that most printers people junk just needed cleaning.
Summary: Get any printer except the 2410 ! I own it and 75% of them have issues with Scanner bar Jammin. no help available for this . just buy another model. If you decide to buy anyway don't pay more than 40 bucks.
Perfect All-in-One printer in every way. FIVE STARS!

Summary: After spending $550 on an epson piece of garbage, which took forever to print, shook the desk violently every time it printed, & half the time, wouldn't print correctly, then, I finally bought my HP psc 2410 photosmart. I've had it for several years and use it for business. It has been a dream. Very reliable, ink lasts a long time. The only thing I would consider in a new printer is one that accepts wireless commands.
