Still going strong

Tarek Al-Shubbak, Amazon
14 December 2013
  • Summary: Purchased this in 2004. 9 years of intense activity later, she is still at it, like the first day. I did stick to the HP original cartridges and I must say this printer has never ever given any trouble! Bravo.

Worked out of the box

James Scott, Amazon
17 September 2013
  • Summary: Does everything it says it will, but as always ink is more costly than the best champagne. Not including a USB cable means it doesn't work unless you are using wireless - which I am

A cheap printer with more good qualities than bad ones

JustmeGemmy, Dooyoo
30 July 2010
  • Excerpt: I purchased this printer over at least 3 years ago, at the time the cheap price tag was it's main selling point, followed by the features available. It is fairly slow with printing and it uses a lot of ink so I would really only recommend this for people who don't need to use a printer very frequently. It worked brilliantly for printing off college assignments, which was it's main use for me.

Cheap to maintain, its a printer/scanner/photocopier and prints quickly.

  • Excerpt: Going through GCSE and A Level, I found that this printer was my best friend! I've had it for years and i must say that it was the best printer i've ever purchased. It was reasonably cheap to purchase and it's very reliable. Being a 3-in-1, this machine prints, scans and photocopies. I found the photocopier the best!

User Review

Jazzi2008, Dooyoo
2 October 2008
  • Excerpt: It always happens, you need an urgent print out and your printer decides to die on you. Faced with no other alternative, I purchased the PSC1215. At such a low price I have to say I was pretty dubious. However, 4 years later, this printer has been worth its weight in gold. I run a small business but generate a fair amount of paperwork and it has not let me down at all. So impressed I purchased another 2 for home use. Installation is very simple.

Worth it

Gillper, Dooyoo
18 April 2008
  • Excerpt: This is a very reliable product with verious features which will just make your life easier. The different features of the printer/ scanner can be used to full effect with the simple yet effective software which comes with it. It's not an ugly printer and now a days you will probably find better ones but this one is efficent for the price its sold at.

You get what you pay for

Luke Parkes-Haskell, Amazon
19 June 2007
  • Summary: Having used the printer for quite some time, I find that it has a number of annoying flaws. Firstly, it has issues dispelling the paper after printing, often causing it to seize and jam up entirely. It can also chew up and destroy printouts on occassion, lock up part way through printing, requiring the cradle to be reset or suck up multiple sheets at the same time causing all manner of issues.

Total rubbish

junkers101 "junkers101", Amazon
7 January 2007
  • Summary: The printer is incapable of printing more than one sheet of paper at a time without jamming. It is almost entirely unreliable as a printer and I would strongly recommend you buy a different brand. Every time you try to print something there is a 'holding your breath' moment to see if yet again it will jam - and it invariably does, causing much pain, hassle and unnecessary work and time spent!! Don't bother!!
