"I hate this printer!!!!"

Galvestongirl, CNET
17 July 2012
  • Pros: The scanner is great!
  • Cons: Drinks ink by the gallon and I can't afford its bar tab!! Also if the photo black is out but every other cartridge reasonably full it does not print well for everyday B&W printing and sometimes refuses to print at all.

"Lousy product. Too expensive at any price."

MichaelGB, CNET
3 February 2012
  • Pros: Deceptively nice design and features. Too bad they fail. Set-up was easy
  • Cons: Wifi radio went dead, connectivity before that was intermittent to poor. Slowed down my computers (3) that it was supposed to work with. Guzzles ink like no other printer I've ever seen.

marty78444, CNET
2 August 2011
  • Pros: This printer allows you to print professional-looking photos at home. The quality for regular everyday documents is quite good. The Bluetooth capability can be very handy as well.
  • Cons: The wireless radio stopped functioning completely after about a year of using this printer. Therefore, wireless printing through the home router is nonexistent; one has to connect their computer directly to the printer via USB in order to print a documen

"Typical HP Inkjet - Poor Quality Parts - Do Not Buy HP"

Lithopedian, CNET
8 June 2011
  • Pros: Nice photo and text printing. Good copies, fax, and scanning.
  • Cons: False paper jam after almost no use. Manual is barely helpful for anything other than a real paper jam. Apparently this is common. Typical HP inkjet in my experience. Will be my last.

  • Cons: This thing never works, uses way too much ink and customer support is useless. The printhead went out after six months and they tried to say it wasn't under warranty.

"This is the WORST PRINTER!!!"

WEBBLADY12, CNET
30 April 2011
  • Pros: Nice scanning feature. Too bad it only works for one year and then breaks beyond repair!
  • Cons: I bought two of these printers and each one lasted just one year before breaking down beyond repair. After the first one broke and could not be fixed, I thought, "Oh, it was inexpensive so how long could I expect it to last?" Then I bought a second printe
