Summary: Unfortunatly I bought this printer a year ago - one of the worst purchases I ever did. It's consuming a lot of Ink independent if you are using it or not. If you buy a new set of ink 40USD you maybe can print for 6 month (doesn't matter how many pages) because the printer is wasting all the ink in self cleaning. For me, I paid 40USD for 4 pages of normal text - this are 10USD for every page! I will never buy a HP Printer again.
Summary: I bought this printer several years ago from Costco and it is definitely the worst printer I have ever owned. I've had nothing but problems with connectivity (to a PC) from day one. I literally have to configure the wireless settings almost every time I try to use it. The problem I'm having now is that the pages are coming out completely blank even though the ink cartridges are supposedly full.
So long HP...you are obviously living on past reputation

Summary: Having just spent $80 for all new ink thinking that would stop the smudging I have come to the conclusion that this is a "throw away" printer not worth trying to fix. What a piece of crap...HP should be ashamed of its performance and offer replacement credit for those of us that chose to buy the HP Photosmart Plus.
Summary: This printer seems to dry up the ink or gives it a time limit regardless of how many prints you make. We buy genuine HP ink and after 30 prints in a month the printer stated we were "low on ink". HP printers are a scam. Save your money.
Summary: I've lost count of the dollars I've spent on ink cartridges. Not to mention the hours of my time I've spent on the phone with HP support. This printer is not worth it. It would be nice to print something without there constantly being a problem.
Summary: I bought this printer a couple of years ago at the Apple Store along with a new MacBook, because I was looking for a good wireless printing option my wife and I could both use with our laptops, our tablets, our phones, etc. Meanwhile, we also needed a scanner, so the all-in-one seemed like a good fit. On the rare occasions it's working properly, the HP performs most of those functions capably, but the question is always the same: For how long?
Summary: There must be a picture of this printer in the dictionary next to "aggravation". Does not always connect wirelessly to computer or iPad. Ink runs out very quickly. Cartridges are expensive. Everything all the one-star reviews have said is true. But the most aggravating thing I have encountered is that most of the time when I put in a new black cartridge (HP genuine) , it won't print black !!!
Summary: Printer worked good for about a year, thats when the fun began. I got an ink system failure notification one day and couldn't get it to go away; nor could I use the printer in the mean time. After researching the heck out of this, I tried all the troubleshooting methods I could find (cleaning the print head, etc). Finally I decided to buy a new print head. It cost around $60 bucks here on Amazon.
