Good Printer

dlc122148, Ebay
8 January 2014
  • Summary: Overall this is a good printer. The ink cartridges do not last as long as they should. I bought this printer to replace one of the same model that I have. I purchased this printer "as is" so I wasn't sure what to expect. The paper feed does not work properly, otherwise is prints fine.

Garbage

Brent, Amazon
3 March 2013
  • Summary: Don't bother buying this, I wouldn't take it for free. Constant problems, uninstall, reinstall, over and over. Done with HP, looking for a new printer now.

Disappointing to say the least

O. Zuyev "Olga1o1", Amazon
14 February 2013
  • Summary: I don't know what is it with HP printers that they drop the ball every time. I looooove my HP laptops, had two already and planning to buy a third one later this month, all have been excellent. But when it comes to their printers I've also had several and they each have been nothing but problems. I bought this one last year as a replacement for my last HP printer that decided to stop working one day (after less than a year).

Worst printer ever

CCV, Amazon
22 January 2013
  • Summary: The set up was simple but long. It loaded unnecessary items also. After the starter cartridges ran out replaced them with high capacity ones. The B/W was to provide 340 copies. Barely managed 10. All the cartridges ran out within 2 months without printing. The scanning is good but often crashes. Very often it fails to recogize the USB connection. I have been using an HP 882c for 12 years. So far it has not given any problems and the cartridge lasts at least for a year.

Eats ink like crazy and the ink system constantly fails

Greg S, Amazon
29 December 2012
  • Summary: I bought this printer because reviews said it was great on ink usage. Someone who never prints must have provided that review because this one eats ink more quickly than the one I replaced. Worse yet is the printer constantly gives an Ink System Failure message. Usually this has been resolved by either cleaning the print head or simply restating the printer. Today I got the message once again (happens more times than not).

really bad printer

R. Tuthill, Amazon
28 October 2012
  • Summary: As I sit here with my noisy HP B209a printer, I decided to write a review. It's a really bad printer as many others have described and after owning many HP printers, this will be my last. My coworker has a Epson wireless printer and he loves it. No more HP for me. It's working, just barely and always needs some kind of attention.

Decent printer

AK, Amazon
14 October 2012
  • Summary: A decent printer. Prints photos really clearly, can't really complain. And the touch screen is simply amazing, fast respond time with a clean user interface. One most important feature that makes me love this all in one printer is the wireless function. Now I can't seem to go back to the life with wires.
