Summary: It has a lot of features, like photos, copying, printing and a few other things, but the most important thing, to me at least, was the wireless. I don't know why, but when I was on Leopard (Max OS X 10.5) I had a ton of issues with connecting via my wifi. I ended up having to use the usb to this day. My main issue was, if I turned off the printer, I would have to re-setup the wifi again. It wasn't a hard thing to do, just a pain in the ass to do it everytime.
Summary: its a 99 dollar printer, so i guess it is okay for that price. i don't do anything special with it. i had it on a small wood table near the computer, and it damn near vibrated itself off the table with its very noisy back and forth printing. takes forever and a day to set up when first powered up. almost can't wait for it to die so i can get a better one, like the previous hp i had. to be fair, it gives me no problems, just kinda clunky.
Summary: i simply got this printer because my husband uses it to print some work papers when he works from home. We're talking about 2 days every 5 months. And he prints everything in b&w. the ink gets eaten so fast, that after 1 color picture it's already giving me error messages indicating i need more ink. lame.
Summary: Prints really fast when it wants to. Wireless is a mute point because the signal only works if your in the same room. I can be in the room next to it and it doesn't work. Then when I'm in the room alot of times it freezes and doesn't get the print job. Which is bad when your trying to print something like a coupon, and you only get two chances (clicking the print icon) for it to work. I only print valuable coupons $5 and above.
Summary: I'm a college student. My parents bought this printer for me - it was on sale, it looked decent, and it was wireless. Turns out there was a reason it was on sale. It set up fine the first time. I printed stuff wirelessly for two weeks, scanned stuff fine, etc, etc. Then I ran out of ink after limited use. Then the printer stopped printing wirelessly no matter how much I reinstalled the drivers or reset everything.
Summary: I purchased this product around 20 days back. There are certain pros and cons of this product. Pros: Wireless and makes the work a lot easy. Can print sitting in any room. Keeps the print job in buffer if its offline and when turned on, prints the page. Have a lot of options for the quality of the print, copy which is good. Touch screen is cool. Cons: Consumes a lot of ink. I have printed and copied around 50 pages and the black ink is already half gone.
Summary: Ordered this printer to replace a Lexmark. I spent hours trying to setup printer with no success. Finally had a computer man come and he spent 1 1/2 hours getting my two Dell laptops to find the printer and also go wireless. I still get error messages regularly on my laptops re not finding the HP printer but it somehow finds the printer later. The HP received from Amazon was not exact model shown, but works the same.
Summary: I don't know if there's something I need to do further to eradicate this problem, it takes forever for the printer to begin the printing of any kind. It prints quickly, but takes a long time to begin. It's very noisy too. The print quality is great. I got this at a great price ,so i gues I've gotten my money's worth. The wireless is very helpful.
Summary: This printer works fairly good. My only complaint is it eats up the ink very fast so it is expensive to operate for Photo printing. You would be better served geting your photo's processed at a one of the chains that provides that service.
