HP Photosmart Plus copier

bigsam, Amazon
21 January 2011
  • Summary: Ordered this printer to replace a Lexmark. I spent hours trying to setup printer with no success. Finally had a computer man come and he spent 1 1/2 hours getting my two Dell laptops to find the printer and also go wireless.

Decent printer

Caohu09, Amazon
2 January 2011
  • Summary: It has a lot of features, like photos, copying, printing and a few other things, but the most important thing, to me at least, was the wireless. I don't know why, but when I was on Leopard (Max OS X 10.5) I had a ton of issues with connecting via my wifi.

From bad to worse

Z-A-P, Amazon
2 January 2011
  • Summary: I'm a college student. My parents bought this printer for me - it was on sale, it looked decent, and it was wireless. Turns out there was a reason it was on sale. It set up fine the first time. I printed stuff wirelessly for two weeks, scanned stuff fine, etc, etc.

Pros and Cons

Dhruv, Amazon
2 January 2011
  • Summary: I purchased this product around 20 days back. There are certain pros and cons of this product. Pros: Wireless and makes the work a lot easy. Can print sitting in any room. Keeps the print job in buffer if its offline and when turned on, prints the page.

noisy, slow

J. Bates, Amazon
2 January 2011
  • Summary: its a 99 dollar printer, so i guess it is okay for that price. i don't do anything special with it. i had it on a small wood table near the computer, and it damn near vibrated itself off the table with its very noisy back and forth printing. takes forever and a day to set up when first powered up.

Expensive to operate

Amazon Customer, Amazon
2 January 2011
  • Summary: This printer works fairly good. My only complaint is it eats up the ink very fast so it is expensive to operate for Photo printing. You would be better served geting your photo's processed at a one of the chains that provides that service.

it was OK.

YanaBanana, Amazon
2 January 2011
  • Summary: i simply got this printer because my husband uses it to print some work papers when he works from home. We're talking about 2 days every 5 months. And he prints everything in b&w. the ink gets eaten so fast, that after 1 color picture it's already giving me error messages indicating i need more ink.

Ok printer for budget conscious..

Gio Graves, Amazon
2 January 2011
  • Summary: A tad noisy, no duplex, and below average printing speed. But photo prints come out really nice as well as documents on quality paper. Wireless works for me, though some others have reported issues. I did have to power cycle it twice so that it could browse wireless networks.

Great printer if it didn't drink ink

Brian C. Davis, Amazon
2 January 2011
  • Summary: I love everything about this printer except the ink usage. It is easy to setup, easy to print, and is very fully featured. I have owned it for about a month, and with just moderate printing on the fast/economical setting am already having to replace the black ink and magenta ink cartridges.

Uses Ink Like Crazy!

magyk731, Amazon
2 January 2011
  • Summary: This was a Christmas present since my old HP All In One was slowing and surely going. My experience with setup was easy and especially wirelessly with my iBookG4. The noise doesn't bother me, sometimes it sounds like the paper is going to jam (my old printer did this on a daily basis).
