Summary: i haven't been this frustrated with a printer since the last time HP tried to force me to use their ridiculous, bloated, counter-intuitive and fury inducing software back in the 90's. Slow, very slow, software (if you can ever find it) is laughably pre-school targeted; i have to say thank you though to this product for resurrecting a temper and a shouting spree from me that i had figured was cured over 10 years ago - i'm hurrying this review up so i can pitch this...
Summary: I only got about 2 months of extremely light use out of it before it began to malfunction. It wouldn't connect to the wifi and when I did get it to connect, it wouldn't print anything. And if by some miracle I DID get it to print something It kept saying the paper was out. When I FINALLY got it to accept the paper it skipped lines and decided what words it wanted to print and which words it didn't.
Summary: This printer uses an insane amount of ink. I use for small print jobs about once every other month. I have to replace all the cartridges each time I use it. It is constantly "cleaning" the cartridge heads wasting ink. I have had several HP printers in the past, but this will be my last. They have taken advantage of their once good reputation for printers.
Summary: worst Hp printer ever you will pay pay and pay for ink!! also wireless connection is iffy 5 pages or so of normal printing not even photo and you need ink print says i have some black ink left but will not print in black
Summary: My wife purchased the HP 6510 printer for its wireless capabilities (and got copying & scanning as a bonus). However, this produect is flawed in many ways (sensing paper size with no overrride is #2 on my list), but the real problem is that it drops wireless connectivity - and the ONLY way to re-start things is to unplug the device, and then plug it back in again.
Summary: I have had one problem after another with this printer. Out of the box it told me it needed to perform all kinds of re-calibrations which seemed to continue each time I tried to use the thing for the first time again. I had paper feed problems, also right from the start. It does some sort of re-calibration every time I use it, which adds minutes to each print job.
Summary: This printer is the single most frustrating piece of equipment I have ever used, and that's saying a lot. Pros: - It's pretty. - The print quality is pretty good when it actually works. - The scanner and software actually works pretty good. I have not had any problems with it. Cons: - Connecting wirelessly is a nightmare, even for technical people like me. - Connection drops frequently. - Can't print when connected to VPN. - Clearing print queue doesn't matter..
Summary: I usually don't write product reviews, but in this case my experience has been so awful that I just have to try to keep people from buying this product. First off let me say that I didn't pay a dime for this printer, it came for free with my MacBook Pro. Seemed like a good deal, the wireless feature sounded great, and our other printer was getting outdated. Got it home, set it up, printed from my Windows desktop and it worked great.
Summary: If there were ever a printer that could be depicted as a bandit compelte with ski mask, this would be it. Ink is horribley expensive which would be ok if it lasted, but it won't. It will last 20-40 pages or so. Then you buy more and it is no different. In fact if you don't print and just leave the ink in the printer, it will dry up and you will get zero pages per cartrige. Huge waste, don;t do it.
Summary: I bought this printer for our office, to replace our other broken HP printer. The print quality is good when it works, but it randomly stops connecting with my Mac. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, turned off, unplugged, everything I can think of. Nothing works. Then it randomly starts working again hours later. Don't buy this printer unless you have a few hours to kill whenever you need a print.
