Summary: So, I have had this printer for over a year. I bought it when I first moved to TN. I have always bought HP printers. We blow through them fast, well we did when the kids were little. Evidently, printers dislike peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. As well as fish sticks. Go figure!
Summary: All in all, this seemed like a promising enough printer. Setup was not exceedingly simple, but easy enough for anyone to complete. The print by email feature was nice. Print speed and quality was good enough for household use.
Summary: Everything ok except that it is not truly wireless as I thought it to be. If you take a wirless laptop on the road with this printer. IT WILL NOT PRINT! Reason I am told that the printer works through the router @ home. Have to buy a priner cable for it to work on the road. O well!
Summary: It would be nice if the packaging, advertising, told you it needed more equipment to work as WIRELESS. I do not use it as its too much of hooking from my two laptops to connect with CABLES. It requires some type of card.....at ADDITIONAL cost.....if you can find it. Shame on HP.
Summary: Decent print performance for the money -- you have to keep in mind this is a budget printer. I think I paid $50 for this printer on special. Has an adequate color LCD with touchscreen controls on the sides of the screen to navigate the menus.
Summary: I bought this elsewhere, but now having had it a year I really need to vent somewhere. I loved my last scanner (Epson) and was annoyed that it wasn't compatible with my new Windows 7 computer. So, I thought what a great idea to just get an "all in one" machine.
Summary: I bought this printer from Best Buy about nine months ago, and it worked great at first. It connected to my home wireless network without any trouble, and both my laptop and my parents' desktop detected it and installed the software just great.
Summary: What the other negative reviewers say is true. This printer eats ink. If you print 5 pages your ink levels will be 25% gone. The ink is very expensive and yes, you have to have both cartridges to run the printer at all.
