"The worst of the worst"

Savvy101, CNET
7 October 2011
  • Pros: Nice footprint, attractive - but becomes ugly after using it for awhile because it's so difficult to manage.
  • Cons: Everything else, especially it's short life span.

"Not even the best of this class of HP's"

brejackal, CNET
22 July 2010
  • Pros: Very few, but the ability to print lined paper when you need it is a cool little function.
  • Cons: The print has not recognized a print cartridge since i loaded the first set. It is slow and the black ink will just stop printing for no reason.

  • Pros: Photoprinting great on HP paper.
  • Cons: Noisy and slow. The frequent, unprompted displays on the LCD screen. Motherboard exceedingly vulnerable to damage.

"The worst printer on the market, virtually worthless."

ddbok, CNET
29 November 2009
  • Pros: Lots of nice features if you could use them.
  • Cons: Poor software, poor computer/printer communication, crashes, fixes from hp do not work making this printer virtually worthless. Could be up for the worst printer award.

"Could not agree more!! Software is atrocious!!"

rn9500, CNET
22 November 2009
  • Pros: Good print and scan quality. Relatively easy set up.
  • Cons: Driver is terrible, slow, frequent freezes and crashes. Just spent over an hour and 4 different attempts to scan a 15 page document. Still not successful. Crashed every time before finishing, losing all the previously scanned pages in the process.

"The scanner for negatives and slides is TERRIBLE."

sarkelcos, CNET
20 August 2009
  • Pros: It seemed okay as a multi-funtional device, but the different functions don't all perform very well. Being able to slide in different imaging storage devices and print directly from them is good.
  • Cons: Scanner for negs and transparency is a joke, and only handles 35 mm. Doesn't matter, really, because it handles those so badly that you wouldn't want to put medium format images on there anyway.

  • Pros: THE ONLY NICE THING ABOUT THIS ALL IN ONE IS THE NICE PHOTOS IT PRINTS OUT, AND THE SET UP TOUCH SCREEN
  • Cons: THE SLOWEST PRINTER SCANNER I HAVE EVER SEEN OR USED, IT TOOK 30 MINUTES TO SCAN A SINGLE DOCUMENT AND SEND THRU SELF MAILER????
