This printer was great until I got a Windows 8 computer
16 April 2015
Summary: This printer was great until I got a Windows 8 computer. The printer would begin not to work from my computer and eventually reinstalling didn't work so I had to get a new printer. After research I discovered that this is a known HP problem but no solution is available.
Summary: This printer is junk... I have been a loyal HP customer for many years, from pc's to flatbed scanners to printers. This particular model of printer has been a problem since the day I bought it.
Summary: I've had problems with this printer ranging from software to hardware since the beginning. I've had times where it leaked ink everywhere, network connection failures, software install problems, and of course, the expensive ink cartridges, I'm fairly tech savvy and was able to keep the printer...
The printer is great, I have an older HP in the dumpster

Summary: The printer is great, I have an older HP in the dumpster, had a problem with photo paper. Couldn't print on photo paper to save itself. Hundred's of $$ in print cartridges in the dumpster. The 7280 has performed well, printing both letter and quality 3x5 photo's. That said.

Summary: This printer is too busy trying to sell you over priced HP ink to be any use as a scanner. Since I am usually scanning in a hurry I really recommend you avoid this product. I am not a fan of HP at the best of times but this is really useless.
Summary: I have been using this printer for several years a now I will have to buy a new printer because is not printing photos because it cannot grasp the paper I don't like this printer because of these problems: 1.
Summary: I can only think of reasons why you wouldn't want to buy the machine. The ink dries out before you get to use it. New ink cartrages have varying amounts of ink...weigh them and see. Inks "expire" and you can't get any further.
Summary: I have had this printer for 5 months and it was fine for a couple months. Then I started getting the "ink system failure" error codes. Nothing but trouble ever since.... I have tried every "fix" and suggestion I could find but the end result is "IT'S FRIED!" I should have read the reviews first!
