Good printer as compared to some.

Excerpt: I have had my Photosmart printer for a couple of years now. I like the way it makes copies, prints and most of all print photos. I have had a number of problems with the software. I had to have HP send me a disk to correct some of the problems. I am so glad that I had them send me the disks, cause I have used it a couple of times since the first problem. I recently took it to the shop and attempted to use another printer. It was a nightmare.
Have had it a bit longer than an month and I LOVE IT

Excerpt: This Wi-Fi connected printer and my laptop are in love, and I am right there to cheer them on. I haven't gotten into photo printing, but the functions are sweet, the printing excellent. the options plentiful and performance so far - better than expected. Worried that ink prices may put a damper on things in the future, but the scan function and copy are of great importance and work great.
Excerpt: I love this printer, HP Photosmart C6180 All-In-One InkJet Printer. The quality of color prints are good, I love the fact it is also a fax machine as well as a copier. I've had it for about a year and have had no problems. I would purchase this printer again.
Excerpt: This printer is one of the best christmas presents I have ever recieved. It does EVERYthing I have needed it to do. It prints very fast and the color is great. It goes through ink very fast which is something I think if negative, and it also it negative that the ink is so expensive, I have yet to find it on sale or cheaper. Those two things are the only two negatives I can really think of. Everything else I have done with this printer, it has been very positive.
Excerpt: I LOVE this printer! For a home office with next to no space for the many tech objects that are needed, this all in one is the perfect fit! The ability to go wireless is an added bonus that not all printers can boast. It says on the HP website that you need to plug into a wireless router but we've set it up to auto detect the wireless signal and it works seamlessly...
Excerpt: I recently went to Office Depot to buy some extra "HP 14" ink jet cartidges for my HP Office Jet 7130. The two packs of black ink and color cartidges were $50. I don't like to run out so I was going to buy three. I then was going to buy refills for my Canon ip8550 photo printer which has individual cartidges for each of the eight colors it needs. I realized I was going to spend nearly $300 on ink, which really seemed crazy to me.
Summary: This machine, when it works, will give excellent copies, prints and photos. The ink cartridges, when purchased, are not full. Some new ones aren't even recognized as being in the machine or are "out of date". This is something to be aware of before purchase. Because of the "chip" in the cartridge, they can NOT be refilled at home, as many of us do to save the cost of replacement. If you can overlook the ink problem, it's a good machine.
